This was the last room available and it was getting late. I was traveling with my 92yo mother. She doesn't walk well. I missed the part about the hotel not having elevators, but who would think in this day and age that a hotel would not have an elevator??! I had already paid for the room and no other hotels were available nearby.

Got in late, very nice young man at reception and very friendly. Room was nice and quiet . On the downside ashtrays right by entrance doors full of butts some still smoking and the smell reeked even to the inside hallways. Breakfast was meh.

The outlets in the bathroom did not work, the toilet was in a continuous flush so I had to lift the tank cover and reposition the flapper, one of the phone charging portals was broken and both ice machines in the property were out of order.

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Cleaning!!!
Location: Short drive to Overland Park and KC. I chose this location due to meetings I had in Loch Lloyd.
I am sorry to have to write a disappointing review because the manager went out of her way to be helpful. I arrived and discovered the accessible room I had confirmed by phone was not available. I stayed in a regular room one night and moved to a new room the next morning for two more nights. I probably should have just moved to another hotel. The accessible room had clean sheets and towels, and the floor was vacuumed, but everything else was dirty. There was a dead moth stuck inside the duvet. There was ground in layers of dirt stuck in the seams of the desk chair. The trays under the coffee maker and the ice bucket hadn't seen a dust rag in ages. I leaned on the bathroom counter and found my sleeve stuck in heavens knows what. I spoke to the housekeeper, but things did not improve. Instead I got hostile looks and a loud knock on my door at 8 AM on Sunday morning (check out is noon). The price is low, the location is convenient, but I won't be back.

The hotel met my expectations.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hot breakfast was good. There was plenty of options to choose from. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.There were some good restaurants nearby. Would stay again when in the area.

Bugs... Had to sleep with the lights on.

Pros: The price was what I expected for a business traveler type of hotel. (around $100) I stay at Comfort Inn's often, they are very nice.
Cons: Call a professional exterminator. If you are going to charge $100/night: You better spend the money to take care of your guests! Disgusting!
Location: The location is right off of I-49 on the main drag.
I checked in and everything seemed fine. I was at the desk catching up with Facebook around 9pm. That's when the first 3/4" big roach scurried across the desk. I saw another in the bathroom, I killed it. Then a black fuzzy spider crawled up the curtain, right next to me. I thought about asking for another room, but it was already 10pm. A big brown roach scurried up to my right elbow and just sat there on the desk as I was typing. I decided to flick it away, but when I did it popped open and splattered yellowish goo all over my laptop cords and the desk. I washed my hands thoroughly. I zipped up my suitcase, briefcase, and laptop bag so I wouldn't take along any hitchhikers (roaches) on the rest of my business trip. It was time to sleep and I left the lights on. I lay down and look around for bugs but it seems OK. I look up at the ceiling and right above my head is a 3/4" black fuzzy spider just chillin' out looking at me. I took the hotel directory and folded it over and smacked the spider. It fell on the bed and tried to scurry away but I hit it four more times and it curled up it's legs and died. I left the black spider, on the clean white sheets, where it died for house keeping to find, then slept on the other bed. With the lights on. Is it normal to have fear of roaches getting in your ears while you sleep? 'Cause that's what I was thinking about. I slept poorly and woke up a lot. Needless to say, I didn't have breakfast there. So no comment on that.

good choice for the price and location

Cons: poor excercize facilities
My husband and I used this hotel for visiting relatives who live in Belton. The hotel is a fairly standard motel. It is fairly new, and was formerly a Holiday Inn Express. The staff, especially at breakfast, is super-friendly. The breakfast is pretty good - biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt. There are some mediocre restaurants within walking distance, and some decent chain restaurants within 5 minutes drive. I am not an exercise buff, but I couldn't help but notice... I've been to this hotel three times, and every time one of the two exercise machines had an "out of order" sign. The hotel includes free wireless internet. It is reliable, but not particularly fast. There is also a computer and printer in the lobby.
