Such a beautiful, historic hotel with great staffs. The breakfast was a delight but it would have been nice if the additional options were properly explained in advance (no one explained to us that we can request freshly cooked eggs/omelet, we already knew it from the reviews but it still would've been nice if someone told the guests.) We were very happy with our room with the gorgeous city view, but the shower area could have worked a bit better. The glass partition is not big enough and no matter how careful you are, it will get almost the entire bathroom floor wet and slippery.

Gem in the Middle of the Historic District
It was an overnight stay but well worth it. The room had an incredible view of the Historical Center skyline with the Basilica in the background and the peak of the Cotopaxi volcano in the distance. The complimentary breakfast was perfect in variety and amount and the setting was welcoming. The staff was friendly and outgoing. Great place to stay in the middle of the historic district.
