They were in the process of building a ramp walkway to the beach which was not completed so we had to walk over somewhat dirty area step over a ditch of water of which smells rank. The room was clean although disappointing in amenities. No hair dryer, no small face washcloths.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel between Dec. 27-Dec. 29, 2023. We did not have hot water for a shower the first night and Mr. Meilyn Y Moises checked/confirmed the issue in the room. We had a very sweaty day that day and my wife was sick too. So we really needed a hot water shower. Unfortunately, something was wrong with the hot water system. We understand sometime things happen. But we did not receive any response from the manager when we emailed him about any possible compensation for the inconvenience.

The Perfect place
I absolutely love staying at Hotel Verde Mar!!! It is clean, right next to a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch, with a fantastic pool, and right on the beach. It is perfect for. Solo or family trip!

Best value on the beach
Great place for the value. Beach access is the best part. Pool and room were nice and clean. The mattress was a little uncomfortable but looked like they had some new ones to put in. Could use a little updating but the price is right. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Location is superb. Right on the beach, and close to Manuel Antonio National Park. Front desk staff helpful when asked. Decent value for money. Beach access and swimming pool very convenient. Room was decent with good facilities. No TV in the room, but this was not required, or missed. There are other attractions.
