This was our second time at Majestic, back for our honeymoon after getting engaged there 2 years ago. We stayed at the Elegance and it was great. The rooms are always clean, the food is great and the staff were the best. Our favorite places to eat were hibachi and the steakhouse. Alex the hibachi cook was awesome- entertaining and food was great. Our favorite bartenders were Victor and Roberto. Sexy Deso and Angelica with the activities were a lot of fun and always made sure everyone was having a great time. Breilyn the waiter in the steakhouse was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Majestic Elegance

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance for 6 days. I was disappointed during our stay. Firstly, the rooms were nice, however, our pillows and blankets smelled old and musty, like they were continuously wet. Our toilet area had a constant ceiling leak, where you were dripped on upon opening the glass. The maintenance man did fix our problem, after about a gallon of water fell on the man's head and toilet from above. The food was average. Some dinners were better than others, but at the buffet stations you can expect mostly the same food morning and night. There was also a large amount of tiles missing from the pool floor, you can move them around and pick them up with your feet.

Excellent hotel & beach. Service was superb. No complaints whatsoever. Extremely clean. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

We had a very good time. Great job!!!! Staff was OK. Food was good. Housekeeping not so good. Entertainment was a blast. Club area need to focus on all ages when chosen their music.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Pros: Customer service was top notch
We just returned from a 4 night vacation. Everything from the moment we arrived was absolutely top notch! We upgraded to club level upon arrival and this was the smartest thing we did. if there is availability, I would suggest this. Our butler, Wsier, was fabulous. He was very attentive and even looked for us daily at the pool to make sure we had what we needed. Pillow menu was great - Wsier made sure we had the pillows we preferred. He decorated our rooms daily as we were celebrating an anniversary. We ate at the buffet, Steakhouse, and Japanese restaurant and enjoyed all. The buffet had many choices to please all. Pools for club members were great - never crowded. Drinks were heavenly - many frozen drink choices with premium alcohol. Only disappointment was the seaweed on the beach but the resort did it's best to rake it and can't control this. We had 1 negative issue - we bought jewelry from a vendor at the Thursday night market between Elegance and Colonial resorts. He quoted us a price but then we noticed he greatly over charged our credit card. We reported it the next day to the credit card company as well as management at the Elegance Resort. The manager swiftly contacted the market vendor who reimbursed us the overcharges in cash, provided a free necklace for our troubles and told us that specific vendor will not be at selling on Majestic properties again. All was resolved within 24 hours. I suggest you do

Awesome hotel, 2nd time in Punta Cana I stayed at the Alsol Tiara the first time.. The Majestic Elegance is by far a better hotel.. The staff entertainment were fantastic. The food was average but better than the Alsol Tiara.. A wonderful trip

Older hotel with great staff, mediocre food

Stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon. Pros: staff is very nice and friendly, rooms are spacious, pool and beach area is nice. They also made our honeymoon special by adorning our door with a banner, and setting up a romantic dinner for us in their french restaurant. Cons: hotel is a little outdated, bathroom shower water leaked onto floor when showering, and the food wasn't very good. There are 7 restaurants and none of them were good. The top one is probably the teppanyaki grill and it wasn't anything great. The Buffett seemed to have the same food almost every day. Next time I would spend a little more and stay somewhere a little newer and nicer with better food.

Awesome sauce!

I had a fun yet relaxing time. They had Japanese food, Italian food, steak house, and just a general buffet. Water bottles was served all the time even stocked in your room daily with sprit, coke and Fanta. All the restaurants and daily room stocking was all free, it was truly all-inclusive. They had activities all day everyday. The even had a whole Michael Jackson concert which was just as good as what I saw in Vegas. The customer service was great and the staff was so sweet. Even room service was free if you did not feel like going out to eat. The foam pool party was so much fun. They had Zumba, yoga, and much more. This was my first time on an all- inclusive and I was truely amazed. The only complain I have is that my room key stopped working three times in 24hr which was annoying. I will look for this same hotel when I travel to Jamaica for a family reunion.
