Food: Better than our other all-inclusive experiences, especially at the buffet. Service at the sit down restaurants was incredibly slow.
Bars: so-so. Wine was terrible (they only have a house brand). Not that many mixed drink choices either. Pina coladas were good, but skimpy on the alcohol .
Pool area: Pool is beautiful and was not crowded. Ample pool-side seating, but could use twice as many chair umbrellas. The swim up bar was never open on the family side. No poolside bathroom or any place to rinse your feet before going to your room. When my daughter went to use the lobby bathroom (which was closer than our room), she was turned away because she didn’t have clothes on over her swim suit.
Beach: beautiful. Get there before 7:00 if you want chairs in the shade as there are only a few shade cabanas on the family side that are not reserved for “premium” customers. No beach side bathroom or place to rinse the sand off your feet before you head back to your room. The sea is calm, sandy, warm and incredible.
Rooms: Adequate, but not luxurious. The A/C is nice and the beds/bedding was above average.
