Golf Trip with friends

Pros: Helpful Staff, Clean facilities. Food was awesome at the buffet and restaurants. Restricted options for vegans & vegetarians.
Cons: The all inclusive tagline usually attracts people to the bars. The quality of alcohol could be improved to include some of the top shelf brands.
Location: Lots of Golf!!
This was my first trip to Punta Cana. It happened to be a milestone birthday celebration with 15 other friends and Golf was the major agenda. The resort staff are awesome and very helpful. The grand resort has 2 main areas - Beach Adults only and the Palace. Amenities are nice at the Bavaro Beach, but most everything at the resort is happening at the Palace - shopping, shows, restaurants, casino, disco etc. The beach area is nice though I'd have expected it to be a little bigger and deeper in space allocated. It is not more than 100 yds from the buildings to the beach and the seating area is pretty congested. The Adults only area is nice if you're wanting a very quiet environment and you plan to just spend your time in the balcony or sitting on the beach listening to the waves all day. We had other plans and spent most of the day outside the resort on various golf courses. I would recommend this resort!

Barcelo Beach

Everything was perfect. Only suggestion is to include the shuttle from airport. The cost is minimum. But would be a big help. The hotel provides arrangements at a cost. But they did not help much complicated and at the end a taxi for 2 passengers is about the same cost. Lost of time Everything else was 10!!

Pros: Plenty of hard working staff Multiple sizes of pillows so you could pick the ones you liked
Cons: Colder refrigerator Better internet
Location: Went to Monkeyland - loved it
Everything was very nice, just short of excellent. Staff tried very hard to please. Most spoke at least some English. Beds were very comfortable, liked all the pillows. Some issues with internet, but I think that's a regional thing, rather than just the hotel.

Mis peores vacaciones La limpieza pobre El baño con mayólicas sucias y rotas Por esta calidad ni media estrella Se me desapareció mi gorro de la habitación y cuando pregunté me dijeron que no saben nada no han reportado nada no pueden hacer nada La comida no estaba rica Llovió la mitad de los días que estuve De ninguna manera regreso ni recomiendo este hotel Sucio falta de limpieza y amabilidad

Beautiful resort ...beautiful beach

Pros: I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the very friendly and accommodating staff.
Location: Location was on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!
The resort was great especially because it didn't have many stairs which was wonderful for my husband who has trouble walking since his stroke over 4 years ago. The grounds were super clean, the staff were extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere was pleasant. Lots of chairs available poolside and beach side so no need to save a chair early in the morning. Food was delicious, drinks were yummy......overall a lovely place to take a vacation! Perfect adults only resort. Not too quiet, but not too rowdy either.....just lots of fun!

Premium not worth the price!

Went for a second honeymoon so paid for premium club. No beach bar service! Slow table service at buffet. No nightly turn down! Had to call for towels almost daily! Roof off our deck leaked into tub! Food was ok not great. Moldy shower! Not worth the money!!!!

Adults only should be translated as old people. Rooms are ok, but everything is too far away

This place is good if you are 60 or older. My friend and I are both 30 and wanted to have some fun, but ended up just relaxing by the pool or beach because they don't really play any music. It's more of a meditation chant. Next time I will do my research before I book. Over all this place is very beautiful and the staff is well put and friedn
