La Cantera was awesome! We stayed in a villa and it was fantastic. The staff was amazing, rooms clean and well appointed. It was very convenient to the falls. When I go back, I’m definitely staying there. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay more days or weeks!

Beautiful jungle setting

Pros: The location, the setting, the quiet. You truly feel like you're in the jungle.
Cons: Coffee was not consistent at morning breakfast
Location: It is remote and a taxi is needed to get anywhere, unless you rent a bike. Iguazu Falls are the main attraction and a must see.
We arrived in the dead of night due to flight issues. The staff was friendly, spoke English, and quickly got us settled, even helped to confirm an am tour we had scheduled. The setting of this hotel is its high point. Rooms are down boardwalks that wind through the jungle. At night you can sit by the pool, enjoying the peaceful quietness with the crickets and quiet music. During the day, the pool is a great place to relax after a trip into town or a day at Iguazu Falls. If you're looking for romantic, this hits the spot. It is remote and taxi required to just about anywhere, but it's worth it.
