Nice hotel convenient.

Pros: It was convenient to excellent restaurants and shops.
Cons: the beds need updated. the rooms need their bathtubs fixed no elevator available, 5 steps up to first floor. Disabled beware.
Location: restaurants shops Italian bakery
The staff is friendly and helpful! The beds are foam and were very uncomfortable. The rooms were clean but each room seemed to have something wrong with it like the hotel was remodeled but never quite finished.

Great location in Little Italy

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, full kitchen
Cons: none
Big rooms with a full sized kitchen. The location is great and an easy walk to the Providence downtown. Staff was very nice and friendly. Restaurants all around for every meal and reasonable prices. I would stay here again.

Good location in Federal Hill

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Strange decor (it could be in Italy, but I don't necessarily mean that in a good way), with somewhat aseptic tile floors throughout. On the plus side, the suites are very large and equipped with new kitchens. Another check on the plus side for the location, particularly if you want to hang out in Federal Hill(Little Italy) . If you plan to spend more time downtown, you should look elsewhere.

Quirky, clean, friendly hotel for a great price - great location.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Staff was great. The hotel is in the best location in Providence for restaurants, and easy to get to from downtown or freeway. Worth it just to have a parking place in Little Italy!

In a great neighborhood

If you like a hotel with character in a nice and convenient neighborhood, this fits the bill. Not formulaic big chain hotel.

Adorable location, interesting hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, cute location!
The location of this hotel - right in a little European-esque square - was a wonderful surprise. It was hard to find at first, since you have to park in a tiny alley in the back of the hotel, but once found it was easy. Getting discounts on the local restaurants saved us a ton of money (especially the delicious Dolce Vita right next door! Unusual and delicious breakfast!). Little Italy is a walk from downtown Providence but isn't bad in the warmer months. We stayed over a WaterFire weekend - it was a great feeling to head back to our hotel and away from the huge crowds of people fighting their way out of downtown! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were a bit glaringly white at first, but I got used to it. Great option having a full kitchen in the room, especially if you're staying more than one night. Overall, I would absolutely stay again!

Just like being in Italy

What a wonderful location - off the beaten track on a lovely plaza in Providences Little Italy. Very comfy, lovely manager. Stay long enough to enjoy the many great meals you can enjoy in the area. Very cool decor - super modern, all white. Just loved it!

THIS HOTEL WAS A GREAT FIND

I just stayed at the Dolce Villa April 25th, 2009. It was one of my best experiences and I was beyond impressed with the 2-bedroom suite I rented. The hotel is located in a commercial shopping ""square"" so it is very well hidden from street view and parking is an adventure. If the owners of the hotel had any sense they would MAKE SURE they offer clear and concise directions. It's absolutely stupid that they don't have directions put right on the front page from I-95. Also they should automatically park your car for you instead of forcing you to go though the adventure of trying to find parking. Other than that again I was beyond impressed with the quality of the suite. This will be the only hotel I stay at in Providence...It's perfect. I live in Boston. It's also conveniently located off of I-95.
