The property was very clean and the room was very clean and smelled great. We absolutely enjoyed our overnight stay as we had a balcony to enjoy the water view. The front desk staff could use a little bit of enthusiasm and friendliness but our overall experience was great and we look forward to our next visit. Another perks of the hotel is the Mexican restaurant across the street and the bakery next door.

Good location

Pros: The coffee in the room was good! The towels were nice and fluffy- and the sheets soft!!
Location: Port Townsend is a wonderful place to visit. Great Shopping downtown- and fun places to explore on the peninsula!!
This is a basic motel- in a good location. They do have their own beach- and you can launch a kayak from it. Many of the rooms have balconies with a view. I'm sure that would have been more pleasant- but we needed to keep an eye on our vehicle with the kayak! This hotel had the nicest sheets and towels in all of our two weeks of traveling!! The staff was pleasant- and flexible.

Close to downtown.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They had to reprogram my key every day because they didn't program it for the whole 3 days of my stay. Room cleaning was around 4 pm which was inconvenient. No air conditioning or fan system.....which would have been great in the heat. Being on the first floor I was uncomfortable leaving my windows open. People walk by a LOT!

Average hotel, nice water view.

Booked through Travelocity for 3 nights. Needed to leave 1 day early. Hotel said policy was to charge for full stay. No warning of this in advance. Called Travelocity, they called hotel problem resolved. Not sure where fault was. I would never book in a hotel that does not let you check out early. Only major complaint was that the room was very cold when I got there and small heater never got room above 60 all night. Had to sleep with clothes on! I emailed and said I would arrive at 9:30 PM. Would it have been too much to turn the heat on before my arrival?
