The lobby was very stunning with a beautiful court yard, and a variety of eateries within the building. We assumed we would have a room in the hotel. When we checked in, we were informed that our room was in the back in a 2-story motel style building. We were told that if we wanted a room in the front hotel building, we would need to pay an additional $20 per night. We paid the difference since we needed an elevator due to health issues. The bathroom showed several signs of being old with areas around the toilet base and the door in need of repair correctly. It looked as though someone tried to paint over rusted or wood rot, but did a terrible job. The shower fan did not work, and the handle in the shower kept following off. Poor customer service at the front desk. Since there are several wonderful hotel options in the Orlando area, we will stay elsewhere the next time we visit the Orlando/Kissimmee area.
