After checking in, my wife and I noticed that the shower head in the bathroom was not working that great. We notified the office the next day (we checked in after hours) and they replaced it with a new one that same day. We both agreed that this was surprising and we really didn't think anything would happen. It was also nice that they have a restaurant and small convenient store on property for dining and any small items you may have forgotten to pack. The pools were nice and they have plenty of tennis and pickleball courts for fun activities. The exercise room was well equipped and they have laundry facilities on the property. Getting into the downtown Tucson area was nice short drive. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay if you're in the Tucson area.

Great amenities! Super safe and secure. Hotel room clean, but just a bit old and outdated, however considering the very reasonable price, the peace and quiet and the security of the place, (gated) I can live with the 80's decor, no problem. Geared more to families and the older crowd, which also suits me fine.Highly recommend !!

MOtel in center of retirement village

Pros: The pools
Cons: The WiFi! Probably the worse we've had in any motel/hotel complex.
Location: We stay there because it is close to our granddaughters in Vail AZ. We like Mt Lemmon a lot.
We enjoyed the pool but wish the hotel had better WiFi and had the carpets in the room steam cleaned or shampooed. Otherwise the maid did a great job in keeping the room very clean as well as the bathroom. Would be nice if there was some type of continental breakfast and better coffee for the guests of the motel. Like that it was a gated area and mostly seniors so felt safe. The price was very good

Nice place close to Pima Air and Space Museum

Pros: It's clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is nothing fancy but has reasonable prices and good food.
Location: Easy access to Pima Air & Space Museum and only about 30 minutes from the Titan Missile Museum. The airport is an easy 15 minute drive.
We were in Tucson specifically to visit the Pima Air & Space Museum and found lots of high dollar rooms available in the area during the high season of January. Among the choices was the Voyager Resort. Don't let the fact that it's in the middle of an RV resort turn you off. It's a perfectly good, traditional Holiday Inn-style motel with comfortable beds, ironing board, microwave and mini-fridge which also happens to be kept very clean and neat. It's the closest to Pima I could find at any price and is just a few minutes away. There are very well kept RVs and park model homes all around and the other guests are low key and friendly. The staff, from the gate guard to the front desk staff, housekeepers and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. There were lots of amenities there, such as pools (one either covered or indoor) tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and other things that we saw but didn't take time to use. If I get to return to Tucson with more of my family this place is definitely on my list!

Do not stay at this hotel!

First off, you must be retired to stay here and work here. Second, it's a RV park that happens to have a few rooms. The room smelled of bleach and icy hot. We had to open the windows and leave the door open for a few hours just to be able to somewhat breathe. It was still really bad after we aired it out, and ended up sleeping with the window open and the fan on. The mattress was the hardest ever. I ended up sleeping on the pillows just to get some relief. It took almost 45 min to check in and we were the 4th person in line. One of the front desk people was helping the same guest the entire time we waited because she couldn't figure out how to use the computer. Once we finally checked in, they told us we had to wear name badges! Yeah, name badges. I'm sorry, but at what hotel do you have to wear name badges as a guest. There is a restaurant in the resort and the food was fairly decent. Except you have to pay inside where the general store is, and the lady at the register has no idea what she's doing. Did I mention everyone who works here is at least 70 years old. I will never come back or recommend this place ever.

Great hotel close to racetracks

Pros: Secure grounds, I have a race car and trailer and I would feel safe leaving it parked on the grounds overnight.
Location: I was only at the racetrack.
A very nice and secure resort facility, good on site restaurant and C-store. It is primarily a snow bird facility with RV parking and park model trailers. The hotel is small and very clean and like new. I would stay there anytime. It has a security gate at entrance so your vehicle is secure.

Great swimming pools and hot tub. Pickle ball and activities were great. Unfortunately the front desk is closed after 4pm and checking was at the front gate which took almost a half hour to complete. The next day I attended at the front desk and was double charged for my casita which should have been prepaid. It took about 20 minutes to iron that out. Our shower was not providing hot water and the internet was not working. I had put in a trouble call but only got voice mail and no one ever returned my call. The shower was finally fixed on day three but the internet was never repaired throughout our 6 night stay. In addition the floors in the unit were filthy and the fluorescent lights in the kitchen kept going off and on. Again our calls to the front desk were never answered. On checkout I gave them a list of deficiencies and asked for a discount. That was February 4th and I’ve never heard back.
