Close to the beach but that's about it.

Cons: The food was mediocre & I ended up w food poisoning which resulted in a flight change. Some of the front desk staff are horrible.
This hotel annoyed me from the start. I reached out to them twice about an early check in (1 am) and was confirmed. I get to the hotel AFTER having to take a taxi because my airport pickup wasn't there, and the guy at the desk is trying to tell me that check in means check into the hotel not my room. What kind of nonsense is this? Then he had the nerve to tell me I should have taken a different taxi it would have been the same price as the shuttle. How dare you tell me what I should take to get to the hotel, if the shuttle was there like I reserved in the first place it wouldn't be an issue. I end up having to pay for an extra night and the guy personally brings me to my room with a beach towel. I was going to be checking into my actual room later in the afternoon. I go down to the front desk later that day to re-check into my room for the remainder of my vacation only to be met with questions from this rude lady about the beach towel. WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO ME ABOUT A BEACH TOWEL!? IT'S IN THE ROOM! She's like you're not going swimming? I'm like what is the problem? You're not giving me another beach towel?! So after the nonsense I had to endure I finally check into my room. The pool area is nice, the housekeeping and pool bar staff are all lovely. There was a power outage for a few minutes one day, the shuttle service to other areas like Patong is horrible considering there's no air con and it's more like a cattle van with bench seating.
