This is a lovely place to stay! I was only in town for 2 days and didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities but it was all so very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying again and recommending to my colleagues.

"Better than expected but a couple issues"
Hotel was better than expected for the price. Very clean rooms nice updated decor and great staff. Housekeeping did wonderful job and pool was great. Only a couple of complaints. First the mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. The other issue is that Security needs to pay more attention to the blatant prostitution ring they have going on in the casino at night. If you didn't pay attention or go into the casino more than one night you probably would not notice it but certainly for those guests that do its not good for business. It was obvious security looked the other way when these dealings going on. If youre a female walking around alone you will realize what's going on rather quickly. One careful glance around you can easily pick out the pimps watching their staff. A few were even met in the hallways of the rooms on their way to their " business transactions " but outside of this it was a beautiful hotel in a convenient area.

"Overall an OK place to stay."
The good... Room was clean and staff was very courteous. Covered parking. Nice TV. I only have a few minor issues with this hotel. 1. There is no dresser for you to put your clothes in. You have to live out of your suitcase. 2. The room is fairly dark even with all the lights on. Walls are dark and barren. 3. There is no shelf in the shower area for you to put your soap or hair shampoo on while you shower. 4. Hotel lobby not staffed 24 hours/day as advertised. 5. Lobby not open a 6AM as advertised to get breakfast. Breakfast not all that great. Breakfast is a cup of coffee, small bear claw, and blueberry muffin.

"Downtown Delight"
I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Chase Field. I was in town specifically to see a Diamondbacks game and didn't want to rent a car. Hotel Palomar turned out to be ideal. It is about 4 blocks to the ballpark, on the Metro line making to/from the airport a breeze, elegant, clean and modern. The on-site restaurants served great food at reasonable prices. The staff was spot-on helpful. The doormen were polite, helpful and useful along with being charming and knowledgeable about the area. Going in I felt it might be pricier than necessary, but was totally worth it. I felt safe and well taken care of.
