Great hotel once you find it.

Location: The hotel was a bit tricky to find. Drove past it three times before we finally found it. I can't remember if something was blocking the sign or what
Lovely hotel. Concierge and valet very helpful in giving us information for touring the city and finding our destinations. Was disappointed that they did not have free WiFi.

Posh with excellent food.

Our room furnishing style was conservative, but the balcony w/table and chairs eliminated any lack of pizazz we might have felt. The bed was not heavenly, just average, and there were no free water bottles in the room, but it was spanking clean.  The free car service within a mile of the hotel was sporadically  available.

The Four Seasons Hotel is a classic hotel with excellent service, a beautiful lobby, elegant gourmet brunch, beautiful spa with pool &sau

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, proximity to museums
Cons: No free Internet, had to pay internet to check into my airline, outdated bathroom with tub shower
The Four Seasons Hotel is conveniently located at the Parkway with the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum and the Barnes Foundation visible outside the front door. The hotel is elegant, with a cozy bar area, gourmet Sunday brunch and spa with a great staff. Although the bathroom in my room was more antiquated than other hotels where I've stayed, overall, the room was spacious and well-appointed.

5-star Prices, 4-star Quality.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: poor internet quality, very expensive parking, very expensive breakfast
Reasons I will not revisit the Four Seasons Philadelphia: 1) When you arrive- the valet service parks your can in a garage that is not affiliated with the hotel. You see a sign that says take ticket with you, but nobody tells you the hotel will NOT comp your parking until you checkout. $27 to park for 13 hours. 2) Two eggs (any way you like) and 1 breakfast meat (any kind you like)= $20 + 21% service fee & 4.5% gratuity. 3) Free internet is dreadfully slow. Quality internet costs $18 per day.

Nice, but not what I expected.

Pros: Close restaurants, food was food but expensive for the experience
Cons: No free Internet, very expensive for the quality., bad neighborhood at night.
This hotel was nice but not as nice as the reviews said. I have lived in NY for most of my life and have been to some great hotels so I was a little disappointed with the Four Seasons (Philly). The staff was friendly but not very accomidating (there were a couple of weddings being held there). They didn't bother to tell us about any accomidations, resteraunts, pool, spa services, etc... I think they were too busy with the clients that gave them the most business. The rooms looked clean but not thoroughly (mirrors were either foggy with streaks or spotty). Not enough towels, either. I take two showers sometimes after a long day. Overall, it seems like I might have a had a better experience if the staff had more time for us. My husband and I were getting away ,finally, for a combination celebration of our anniversary and my birthday. It's been hard to do this lately (ill son) and were looking forward to a nice time. Maybe next time.

Beautiful "Old Fashioned" Luxury

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This is a beautiful hotel based in the middle of Center City Philadelphia. The rooms are spacious and decorated in "old fashioned" lamps, etc. However, bed, bathroom, TV, etc. are all up to date modern. Room is very spacious. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, courtious and willing to do pretty much anything for you.

Four Seasons Philadelphia - Birthday Experience

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
We were able to park on the street arriving Saturday evening and saved on parking, we did need to run out once Saturday evening to address the meter but for $6.00 is was worth the 5 minute interruption. Checkin was nice and the staff very warm and helpful. They had Mint Hot Chocolate out but both dispensers were empty. We mentioned this to the staff and they quickly made a phone call to remediate, unfortunatley it was too late for us. The hotel only has 9 floors and appears modern from the outside but we felt this hotel had an older feel to it inside the hallways and through the rooms. They have a nice courtyard that the hotel surrounds which looks beautiful along with fountains and this was our view from the room. The proximity of the hotel to area attractions is perfect, couple blocks to rittenhouse square, JFK Blvd, Museams, and so on. We also had reservations for the Fountain brunch Sunday which is second to none (beef wellington, crab claws, prauns, etc.) - great experience, wonderful staff. I've stayed in alot of hotels in Philadelphia, all of the 4/5 star hotels and would say this hotel does fall within that class but is not in my top 3.

This hotel is not a family friendly place and service is inconsistent. Not worth the money! I would not recommend this

Cons: No free Internet
Cons: 1) The room is showing its age. 2) Service is inconsistent 3) Not a family friendly place - minimum (almost none) child proof the room ; making several requests for a diaper ginnie before receive a WORKING one. 4) Free Coffee in the morning - where? one have to go to basement near the pool area to find the free coffee. 5) Error billing - make sure you check you bill after the trip because they added bar tab on my bill in error. Pros: Comfortable bed
