Issues

The hotel lost power for more than 12 hours and did not know how to properly handle the situation. Some staff were excellent while the other we're lacking manners. Not happy and waiting on my refund as a result of the mess.

Friendly staff, willing to help

Cons: The only thing that would have made it better was if the hotel & restaurant communicated better. There was a large business meeting and the restaurant
I stayed at this hotel during what was to be a major blizzard. The staff was very friendly and helpful accommodating our extra night stay. The shuttle driver to the airport was on time and very friendly. The sports bar restaurant has great food.

If you are traveling for a sports event or concert, it doesn't get any better than this folks. We were thrilled to be able to walk to Citizens Bank Park for the Paul McCartney Concert & equally thrilled to a short walk back to our room afterwards. Upon arrival, we had cheese steaks, onion rings & cocktails downstairs. It was very good & our server was delightful.

Just average

Def. convenient to stadium which was great. Stayed the night after a game and awoke to obnoxious drunk people in the wee hours of the morn. air conditioner was super dusty so we didn't bother to use. Overall, ok stay. But we've decided next time, we'll prob stay elsewhere as convenient as it was to the game, there was plenty of cheap parking was which the reason we chose HI.

Terrific Location but restaurant was closed

We specifically booked this hotel for the location however the restaurant was closed on New Years Day. Knowing that location there is nothing close for food and beverages.. No complimentary coffee in the lobby:(

Check in as soon as you can.

Pros: It was clean and nice.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: close to sports stadiums and music and art districts.
I was in Philly for a concert. Running late, we decided to go straight to the concert venue instead of checking into the hotel first. I called the hotel as soon as we left the concert to say we were on our way to check in. I was told that they were over booked and needed to put me in a different room and that they could because I had booked through Travelocity, my room was not guaranteed. They told me that they had an unexpected block of rooms get bought last minute and that there were no more 2 queen bed rooms left at all and that I was being "upgraded" to a king suite. The problem with that is there were 3 people in my party and now one of us was going to need to sleep on a pull out couch. I told the clerk at the front desk and she said we would get vouchers for free breakfast and that she would put a note on my account for the general manager to review. When we checked out I asked again about getting the room discounted because it was really inconvenient and was told "you got free breakfast". I don't think the manager ever looked at my account and no one every followed up with me about it even after I asked twice. Very disappointed to be put off like that.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Nothing close
I would stay here again.... It's a little out of the way... but when we checked in there was a group of boys in for a basketball something or other... There was a lot of confunsion at the desk with the group... but the staff was on their toes...
