This resort is undergoing many unit renovations. Don’t be surprised if there is painting, grinding, rail replacement, etc going on outside your door-it is very busy. I think my only recommendation would be to tidy up the renovation and work areas so guests don’t have to see the evidence of the work. The workers only work during day hours when people are out so it didn’t bother us.

We absolutely loved our stay here the resort was just so relaxing from the lovely pool area to the private beach - we spent a lot of time just chilling at the beach bar the food at the restaurant by the beach was amazing the staff at this resort go above and beyond big shout out to Ganga who served us at the beach bar - our room had a lovely view of the ocean room was lovely and very spacious - the wildlife you see when walking in the resort is so beautiful the resort is isolated is only the cable car with Oriental village is near so you need transport if you want to explore we hired a scooter but as not much traffic on the island we could have hired a car - you can book trips from the hotel these are also very good - several other restaurants in the resort the Thai restaurant is good - The New Years Eve Gala Dinner was spectacular we watched all the preparations for this evening and it was incredible - we would def come back to this resort when visiting Langkawi only thing I would say is the breakfast at the beach restaurant some of the hot food was cold could do with better hot plates to keep items warm but this didn’t stop us from eating here it’s only an observation - thank you Berjaya resort we will be back 😊😊😊

Lovely resort, with excellent communal facilities.
This is a lovely resort. Very big, but shuttles running all day long. It classes itself as a 5 star, but I disagree. A 4 star at best. This is because the chalets are tired looking and our bathroom condition was not what we expected. The sink was not acceptable, the shower needs attention and new sealants. Some areas of our balcony had loose wood and again have been bodged up continually. The communal areas are spotless, from the lobby, reception, toilets, pool etc. The chalet beds are clean, lovely beds and linen. The staff and service is second to none. A massive credit to Berjaya and the staff are your biggest asset. Food was ok in the buffet with plenty of choice. The brasserie was very good. We didn't try the other places, but heard good reviews about the Thia restaurant. We wouldn't go back until the chalets have been upgraded, as this is a special place, and it would be 5 star+ once the chalets are to standard. The beach area and gardens are loving looked after.
