Front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. Decor is beautiful, but noticed built up dust on light fixtures in hallways. Pillows are super flat.

For the price and the expected conditions of an Exutive Suite, the main room (living and dining rooms) were sub par. Everything was very aged, all the tables were covered in scuff marks and cups rings, the place was very dusty and unclean (hair found on one of the bedroom pillows and a strange white stain on one of the couch pillows). The dinning room chairs were literally falling apart. The room had a great view, but I would very likely spend this kind of money at a different place next time.

Over priced. Charges for parking

Did not expect northern hospitality in a southern state like Alabama. Charge for parking and no complementary breakfast at this price is almost like NYC hotels

Would never recommend on event nights.

Stayed over a Thursday night when a concert was going on at the BJCC. No restaurants open for hotel guests without an hour and a half wait. The BEST thing about our stay was the quality and speed of room service and its wait staff. Shout Out to Justin who went above and beyond on our breakfast order. When trying to retire for the night we found the room was directly over the Pub and they played extremely loud music until midnight. Front desk informed me that's just the way it is. The following morning we called down for valet as asked to do when we parked the day before and were told to ask when we came down. I've minutes later we were standing in front of valet with three attendants one of which could have been retrieving the car for us so we wouldn't have to wait in the cold air when we got down to the valet stand. The female attendant took a call and "Gilbert" told her they weren't taking call downs. "Why tell the guests to call down if you're not taking call downs," I asked. To which he informed me they would get too backed up. There were three attendants and NO CARS in line. In the meantime we stood there for 5-10 minutes waiting when we could have easily been in the car and gone.
