Close to ski lifts but not luxurious

Went up to park city for the night to get away for our anniversary. Compared to other hotels we have stayed out if was not as luxurious but we had a good nights rest. If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay while you ski then The Lodge is your place!

Disappointing.

To call this a 3 star hotel is generous to a fault. I had to wait 20 min. to have a clerk show up at the desk at about 7:30 pm. The room had a Murphy bed that required rearranging the furniture to pull out of the wall.

Nice condo

Pros: Location, size of room
Cons: Some damage to the room, e.g. carpets, lighting and beds. Makes one concerned they may be blamed for past damage.
Location: Excellent, walked to where the Alpine slide, roller coaster and other amusements.
Very roomy, fit our family of 5 very nicely. Located next to the Park City rides and amusements, excellent. Very nice vacation.

Quiet, but not what we reserved.

We reserved a one bedroom condo on travelocity. The lodge told us, there is no way for them to see what we reserve on other websites, so they just gave us a room. It was a very small studio with an uncomfortable Murphy bed. They bed lays on the floor!! Both blankets were full of long black hair, and the tiles in the room are very uneven.....you could easily trip. I told the front desk about all of this at checkout, and I just got a, "sorry about that". The night staff was very friendly and the it was very quiet at night. Extremely close to the mountain which is a benefit. And be prepared.....there is no elevator from the under ground parking up to the rooms.

A Double Edged Sword

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Girls annual retreat! Did not have the 3 bedroom we reserved. Hotel was overbooked. 6 people. Two rooms. Two twin beds in loft (one bed was UNmade!), sofa sleeper broken and not put away and we could not use! Two roll always that were in NO WAY sleep worthy, however, clean linens! King bed was like sleeping on concrete! Cobwebs in light fixtures. Holes in screens on windows that were wide open upon arrival! No a/c...and it was a "scorcher"! Staff, however, we're great to us and "comp'd" our reservation. Though I could not (in good conscience) recommend this hotel, the location was EXCELLENT... as also the staff!

The place is cleaned up

Our annual December visit was a pleasant surprise. The new staff has done a nice job cleaning up the hotel. It is such a wonderful location, now it is a great experience too. The staff was wonderful and helpful.
