Beautiful Beautiful beach. Exactly what we were looking for. Staff was great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Buffet has many options. You will definitely find something you like. For an all inclusive, the restaurants were good. Presentaion and food tasty. And reservations were easy. Download the RIU app to make dinner reservations. The app is a great tool for your stay.Drinks were good also. Really good chocolate martini! Vanessa went above and beyond with ger customer service. The entire staff made our stay and my husband's birthday very memorable. Everyone was exceptional. And we loved loved loved the cafe.

Beach was not swimmable. Red flag every day for a week and locals say that is typical. Rarely is the beach open for swimming. Fine dining options were terrible food overcooked and smothered is sauce. Restaurant reservation system terrible, could only book 2 days in advance and fill up by nine am. Buffet had lots of options but mediocre food quality. No other dining options in walking distance. Great cleanliness and awesome staff. All food options poor to mediocre quality

This RIU didn’t really have anything if you need anything. Only a small shop across the street. The so called specialty restaurant was ok, not the best food the buffet was better. Would not stay at that RIU….

Great experience! Staff are super friendly, rooms are clean, as well as all areas of the resort. Variety of nightly entertainment. Only wish there was an outdoor bar area for the night time. Would definitely recommend this resort!

I like Riu Palace Hotels, but this one is not up to par with the rest. The beach location is very nice, the buffet food had good variety and quality some staff members were great and obviously hard working. However, the hotel property and rooms need to be updated there were cleanliness issues there is an apparent shortness of bath towels as we never received a full restock for the entire time we stayed some staff members seriously lacked hospitality training/awareness as they were short/abrasive and seemed not interested in helping even though they were at their duty stations (front desk, bar, restaurant, etc.)... We had 6 people in 3 different rooms and getting a reservation together at any of the restaurants was impossible because 1) the reservations only open a few days in advance 2) you have to book before 8 am or they are all booked up 3) it would only let you reserve for the number of people registered in your room and it was a challenge to coordinated all 3 rooms to sign in and get the same time reservation. The dinning experience at the reservation restaurants was not that pleasant especially at the Japanese restaurant as you constantly felt rushed through each course and they refused to give you seconds or any extra starters, soup or salad even though this is an all inclusive hotel! Riu Management needs to revamp this overall Riu experience.

Remodeled in known Riu styling. Front desk was less than friendly! But evwry other staff member is happy, friendly, helpful and qanting to help and ensure your stay is pleasureable. Cons: they do not have have any outdoor bars after 5-6 pm. No outdoor eating in the evenings. It is the smallest of 5-6 Riu properties we have stayed at. But I believe one of the only all inclusive in the Bahaamas. So, make rhe best of it!

The staff was wonderful, the property is old and in need of many updates. Dining is limited and requires reservations to be booked via their app solely for your own room only. Comments can be made to include other rooms but not guaranteed. Hopefully you don’t get a room that has two double beds pushed together to make a “king”. We had to switch rooms once. Would not stay again. Luckily, the staff IS amazing and courteous!
