This hotel was overall very very nice. The staff was very kind, sweet, knowledgeable, helped with all of your needs. We didn’t have to wait for tables, drinks, or any other service. They even came to the pool and offered drinks. The rooms were very nice and clean and big. The ocean was also very clean and beautiful. We were able to go to the other hotels attached to this one for food and drinks. We really enjoyed sitting at the beach or pool, and having the waiters come to us and ask if we needed anything. The staff Was so nice at all of the restaurants. I did have an issue with my toilet running, I called the room service and they had somebody upstairs within 15 minutes to fix it. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If I had to say anything that was a four-star, I would say the food was just par. The best food was at the steakhouse , or if somebody in the buffet grilled or made you breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.

If you’re hesitant about other reviews, READ THIS ONE. Here’s my honest review of this place. Garden suites by Meliá is one of 6 places in the chain of melia I believe. If you love nature and greenery, this is the place for you. The place was pretty clean, they had someone come every day and clean up and make the beds and that was so amazing. Coming back from swimming or the beach to a neatly made bed and no dishes anywhere was honestly amazing. The food was good, not amazing but it’s punta Cana therefore stuff is going to different then it would in a different country (i live in Toronto), the workers and staff were very nice, they would dance, and have fun and make you feel very comfortable. The place was beautiful, I have many pictures that I would love to share. But I don’t think I can on here therefore if you’d like to see pictures of almost anything there or have any questions here’s my email gigibellaw@gmail.com. The buffet was nice, you can go there anytime there open, but for most the other restaurants you have to book it, which takes like 2 seconds you just walk to a desk and ask a lady and choose a time. The booked restaurants are definitely tastier. Especially the Japanese one. The fried rice was so fresh and so good. I heard people complaining about the beach and having to take a shuttle bus, but the bus is running 24/7 and is like a 2 minute drive. And the drive is still inside the resorts chain so the scenery on the drive is honestly gorgeous. Loved this place.
