They charged for parking :( . The continental breakfast was a 10! Front desk very polite and very helpful with restaurant recommendations! Hotel needs to buy the housekeeping a vacuum as the housekeeper was sweeping the rug in the lobby with an old broom. Yuck, just sweeping dirt and dust into the air. Very unsanitary. She continued to go up the stairs in the lobby sweeping. For what they charge for rooms I’m sure they can afford to get a vacuum.

Very nice stay from check in to check out. Front desk was very kind and courteous. Offered me dinner recommendations. It doesn’t take a lot for me to get a good night sleep when a place feels safe and clean. One of my better night hotel sleeps in a while. We roll the dice based off reviews and I’ve found many people have high expectations when truthfully you get what you pay for majority of the time. This was worth stretching the budget, very competitively priced but a treat we’ll remember for our 35th anniversary

Awesome place to stay. We were upgraded on our room and they gave us champagne for our sons birthday. Views of the bay are gorgeous- we enjoyed watching the otters in the kelp area of the bay right off of our balcony. Also convenient walking distance to the aquarium and downtown shopping

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. We stayed in a room with a bay view balcony. The view was very beautiful and the balcony was very private. We left our balcony door open through the nights and fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the waves on the rocks and beach. They gave us a slection card every day to choose what we wanted for breakfast and when. They brought breakfast to us every morning at exactly the time we selected. The fruit, pastries and hb eggs were fresh and delicious. The location of the hotel was ideal for our activities. It's about a 10 minute walk one direction to Cannery Row and a 10 minute walk the other direction to Old Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
