Home away from home

This charming little house was the perfect place for myself and my GF to stay with our Cardigan Welsh Corgis while we attended the CWCCA National Specialty at Purina. It was just a 13 min drive to Purina which made it a very convenient location. Our Cardis thoroughly enjoyed the fully fenced backyard, and gave us peace of mind they were safely enclosed, while we supervised there romping and playing in the yard. This place had all the conveniences of home. Also, a basement where W/D were was a safe place to go if needed in the event of a Tornado.The owners were quick to respond to my inquiries, and very accomodating. We certainly hope this place will still be available to stay at when my GF and I return in 2027 for our CWCCA Nationals at Purina.Thank you,Sharon (Anchorage, AK)

Nice little place stay for a dog show

2 of us stayed there with 3 dogs for almost a week for a dog show. Very cute and comfy with everything you need. Fenced in back yard made life easier since we didn’t have to take dogs out on a leash. Very clean. Would be a very quiet neighborhood if it wasn’t for the trains going by but that didn’t really bother me.

Awesome Hosts

Cute house. Stocked with snacks, water, juice boxes, toiletries, etc. in case you need something. The futon/bed is in a room connected to the master bedroom so you walk through this room to get to master. Futon is ideal for kids. House is about 5 minutes from Purina...perfect. Love the fenced in yard too! Thank you Donelle & Steve. We will be back.

Perfect pet friendly place

This adorable little place was immaculate and updated. Yard was clean and well kept. Hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable! Definitely worth staying here again if we are back in the area!

Great spot for Purina event

I stated 9 nights with 2 dogs for shows at Purina. The house is immaculate and just as pictured. There are a few steps to the front door and the back to the yard. Otherwise one floor inside. Great to have washer and dryer in the basement. Quiet neighborhood. I’ll be back for my next Purina event.

Home Away from Home

We, my fur baby and I, enjoyed our stay at the Dog House. Very clean, big, fenced in yard for the dog, and everything we needed for our vacation. If we needed groceries or other items, stores are minutes away. Great places to eat within walking distance too. Central location to Six Flags, Washington and Eureka. You won’t be disappointed.

Loved It!

We had a great time staying at Lucky Dawg! The house was even better than the listing, super clean and comfortable, back yard was perfect for the dogs, and humans. The front porch in the mornings was a real treat. And the hosts are very considerate. The trains do go by, but the noise was never a bother to me, my husband, or our 2 dogs. Our original destination was Hermann, but made plans too late and found this place in Pacific as a base. We had not planned on falling in love with Pacific, but we have! This is a wonderful town with awesome people, we will definitely be back! Dutzow is great too, and Hermann.

Perfect location for dog show

The company Evolve and our hosts Steve and Denelle were accommodating and easy to communicate with when we had questions. The neighborhood seemed a little dicey but we had no problems. The street was quiet with almost no traffic. The nearby train is loud, but we got used to it quickly. Love this place and we will be back.

Perfect stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our daughter's off to college and we just happen to get all 4 of our kids together, ages 18, 18, 20, and 26 to have one last family trip. Six flags was to goal. This was the perfect little place for us. It is very comfortable, clean, and had everything needed. It fit us all perfectly. The back yard is excellent for evenings! The hosts are also very welcoming and there if you happen to need them. Very friendly and kind! We had a great stay and I highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone!

Wonderful little house!

We had the most marvelous time at this home, it was cozy, the hosts left a lot of info about local areas, the yard is fully fenced (areas of it are short so if you have jumpy dogs be aware!), there's laundry on-site and overall it was just wonderful! The train is a block away so the rear bedroom is pretty loud at night but the front isn't at all and we got used to it pretty fast. It was absolutely a fantastic place to stay while we were going to Purina for dog show things. Thank you so much for being amazing hosts!

Our stay at this Pacific property

It’s a wonderful relaxing home, great yard where the fur babies could rump & unwind in between show times at Purina Farms (15 minutes away). The house was well equipped with furniture & most anything we may have forgotten. 3 bedrooms: 1 with a queen, 1 with a futon and the other with bunk beds (double on the bottom & twin size on top). The property owners where always available for any questions or help! Definitely recommend this pet friendly, train track house in the little town of Pacific, Missouri!!

Amazing Hidden Spot

We absolutely loved our stay here! There were things to do for the kids at the property like bubbles, chalk, and shuffle board. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs, and it’s location to St.Louis and so much more was amazing! Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!!

Worth another trip!

Loved this place! Super cute, cozy and welcoming. They had basically everything you need: drinks and condiments in the fridge, coffee, snacks, paper plates and cups, toothbrushes! If you forget something, it’s probably there! We came for a dog show at Purina Farms and my boyfriend’s dad’s 75th birthday. The dog was happy running around the fenced in backyard and we had a little bbq with the family one day. We would definitely book this home again :)

Sisters Weekend

This house and it's hostess exceeded our expectations! The house was charming and nicely decorated. The host provided lots of extras such as coffee, creamer, sweetener, spices, candy and snacks; as well as shampoo and body wash. There was even laundry, if needed. Unfortunately the weather was rainy, so we didn't get to use the gas grill. Highly recommend this house and will definitely stay there in the future.

In the area to visit family

Wonderful property! Everything you you might need was in the house including snacks and wine to relax after our travels! Very comfortable clean house with plenty of space and quiet neighborhood. Backyard was perfect for a a family gathering with a fenced in yard, plenty of seating, a fire pit & lawn games. Will definitely stay again when we are back in the area to see family!

AMAZING hosts, a great little getaway

My partner and I booked this place to getaway from the city, to say it was a great getaway was an understatement. The hosts thought of just about everything, even including some local restaurant recommendations. A great place just minutes from six flags with a great small town field. The amazing hosts more than made up for the slight surprise of the nearby train.
