Room description didn't match

I had a terrible stay at Westgate Palace, the photos on travelocity of the room I booked (2 bedroom, 2 bath condo) didn't match the room I was given by the Hotel. I was supposed to have been given a 2 bedroom condo with a separate dining and living area, the room had a puul out small table with two chairs in the middle of the living area, I stayed here with my 3 small children and since there were only two chairs they had to take turns to sit on the table to eat, why would you allow 5 people to stay in a place that only has two dining chairs?. The day I arrived I noticed the fridge wasn't cooling and I told the hotel, at 12 midnight they sent maitanace and replaced my fridge, some of my food spoiled. I would never book with Travelocity again, and I would never stay at Westage Palace again.

Vi bodde her i 3 netter og trivdes godt. bra renhold og behagelige senger. stort hotell hvilket gjorde at man ikke hadde mye kontakt med resepsjon eller personell som jobbet der.

Nice hotel close to universal studio & water park

Everything was lovely expect the pull out bed was horrible. Its was the thinnest, worn-out mattress I've ever seen in any hotel in my 20+ years of traveling.

The night of the living termites

I have ambivalent feelings about. This time. When I checked I was told my debit card didn't work. That was true because I was able to access money via the atm machine . That was Located not to far from the reservation desk. Second of all we found Live Termites in our bed. Yes ants with wings. That was very disgusting. I did bring this to the staffs attention. The view from the window located next to the elevator was nice. Would I frequent this establishment again ? Probably not! Be blessed

Good for the price for a family vacation

Ice maker didn't work. Got it fixed by maintenance but still didn't get ice. Beds are hard and found a roach on the bathroom counter. Other than that it was good.

Convenient to Universal; free wifi

There is a free shuttle to Universal and other parks, but you need to reserve your spot as it only goes once every hour or so and seating is limited. Check in and out was easy, and the apartment had everything we needed. I had expected a high pressure time share pitch, based on other reviews, but didn't receive any - I had a phone call in the morning offering to pay for breakfast if we would visit with guest services, which I declined. Overall, a great stay.

We needed a room for 6 and this resort exceeded our expectations with our accommodations.Everyone had some personal space and the 2 bathrooms made for plenty of time to get ready for the parks. Universal was 1.2 miles away and Disney was a 7 mile drive. Convenience was a plus. I would definitely recommend.

rooms are nice and hotel safety is even better

Pros: Its cleanliness and the breakfast menu
Cons: maybe less pricey on the drinks.......
Location: Location was definitely a winner.
I wish we could stay longer than 3 days. We truly enjoyed being at the pool.

Enjoyed as I have Every Year! My only downfall this year was the intense pressure of trying to convince you to purchase a time share. You have many who are on budget's due to many situations. I'm sure because of their repeat visits they won't forget to inquire about how to own a timeshare if their interested when time and funds permit.I was not ready to invest in a timeshare or package at the time and the staff was frustrated because of this and stated I wouldn't receive anymore special benefits anymore. Well, because of that they may have lost my vacation funds for next year to the next resort. You never know when a customer is ready to willingly inquire about a timeshare. Nice resort but straight sharp shooters for money.
