Golf weekend

Stayed here with a friend for a golf weekend. Golf courses were excellent. Only complaint was that we saw the cart girls once per round of 18 holes. Would have been nice to include bottled water with the round of golf as some of the cheaper courses readily do. Hotel restaurant Zen was quite good. Drinks were good at David's, however, food and service we found to be quite poor. Pool area was nice. Seems to be very family friendly.

Staff was mixed. Some very nice, some desk staff not so much. Two were nasty when I asked about Kate check out even though I was ok paying the $25/hr for it.

Great spot...except not getting what we'd booked

We've stayed here probably a dozen times. Great spot. This time they decided that we didn't need the "golf course view" room we booked and paid for. We brought it up to two different people there with one person ignoring me and the other giving me a blank stare. I was there to unwind with my wife for the Mother's Day weekend without our 5 kids...so I certainly wasn't going to cause a fuss just to get the situation rectified. Great place to relax with the exception of the rooftop/parking lot view when we'd booked something else. Not cool Omni

No room at the inn!

When I arrived ( after 3 PM) my room was not ready for 1.5 hours. The hotel comped my "resort fee" only after I repeatedly asked them what they were going to do to make it up to me. Nothing was offered before that. The lobby was teeming with other people in the same boat. Too bad, becuase it is a nice place. Luckily, I called hotels.com and they made it right without me asking. So wonderful dealing with hotels.com!
