Great hotel, disappointing "waterpark"

First, the good: The rooms are fantastic, very modern and upgraded, almost like a condo. Couches and beds are comfortable, TVs are brand new. Bunk beds for kids were perfect. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
The bad: We were very disappointed by the "waterpark" and pool area. We were expecting slides that actually flow into the pool like 90% of all other waterparks. These were merely slides next to the pool on a concrete pad that had water flowing down them, and half of them were off limits. Not much excitement. Plus, we were told it closed at 7pm, but they shut it down by 6. When check in is at 3pm, that doesn't leave much time to get settled and out to enjoy what we paid for.
The main swimming pool itself was fine, but just like any other pool. It was nice to have two hot tubs, with one off limits to kids.
There is supposed to be a 2nd pool area with an adult-aged waterslide, but that was shut down for renovation. When "waterpark" is right there in the name of your hotel, it should be be a feature, not an afterthought.
