Close to local attractions

Pros: Pool, food, bar.
Cons: Check-in process (front desk is very slow) Housekeeping (inconsistent with refreshing items in the room each day and lack of response to requests)
Location: Close to all major attractions as well as easy drive from airport. Easily accessible from all major arteries.
The Orlando Holiday Inn Suites and Water park is a good value for the cost of the room. The resort has nice amenities, although a bit "over marketed". The rooms are cleaned and in good repair as are most of the public areas. Large, well maintained pool and "water park" area and easy driving distance to local attractions (Disney, Universal, restaurants, etc.). The included breakfast buffet is a good value and the staff throughout the resort is pleasant. Check-in process is slow and a bit tedious and housekeeping is inconsistent with freshening the room. We had need to contact housekeeping for items not refreshed one day and after one phone call and a visit to the front desk, the items never came!

Disregarded

Checked in and told one pool was closed but would be open the next day. Never opened for the remaineder of my 6 day stay. I was put in a room closest to the broke pool because I was promised it be fixed within a day. Remainder of trip I had to DRIVE to the other pool bc it was so far from my room. Except when one amazing worker Mo would drive my family. Also Handed a "no water" notice for the next day as well. No housekeeping for 3 days! Asked each day and went looking for my own clean towels. My kids had fun because their kids. The staff with the exception of a few was dismissive and very lax about any issue I had.

Great hotel, disappointing "waterpark"

Pros: Rooms were great, staff was friendly. Room quality and price was the only thing keeping this trip on the positive.
Cons: Better waterslides at your waterpark.
Location: Very close to Disney, got checked out and over to Hollywood Studios in about 10 minutes.
First, the good: The rooms are fantastic, very modern and upgraded, almost like a condo. Couches and beds are comfortable, TVs are brand new. Bunk beds for kids were perfect. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bad: We were very disappointed by the "waterpark" and pool area. We were expecting slides that actually flow into the pool like 90% of all other waterparks. These were merely slides next to the pool on a concrete pad that had water flowing down them, and half of them were off limits. Not much excitement. Plus, we were told it closed at 7pm, but they shut it down by 6. When check in is at 3pm, that doesn't leave much time to get settled and out to enjoy what we paid for. The main swimming pool itself was fine, but just like any other pool. It was nice to have two hot tubs, with one off limits to kids. There is supposed to be a 2nd pool area with an adult-aged waterslide, but that was shut down for renovation. When "waterpark" is right there in the name of your hotel, it should be be a feature, not an afterthought.

Nice rooms but that's about it

We were aware of the fees before we left but got there and found out they charge for parking and it's extra for the 4D movie that is only 15 min long. The fees wouldn't have been bad if the watermark was open past 6pm or the pool bar open past 5pm. Hard to enjoy the watermark after a day at Disney with it closed. Also we liked the separate room for the kids but it had a horrible musty smell the smell only went away when the fan was on. The carpet on the floor was also taped together and came apart as soon as it was stepped on. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends not worth the price unless they did away with the extra 370 in extra fees and there are nicer hotels in the area that were cheaper the extra kids room just isn't enough to make us return

room needs attention

Pros: kids loved pool area
Cons: cleaning crew
the bathroom was awful , shower walls coated in mildew and mold , worse under soap dish and base of tub....my feet were black after walking around living room on wood floor.. I got up during night to use bathroom and was greeted by 3 roaches on bathroom floor.

Fun hotel convenient location

Room was nice-clean and well decorated (beds were comfortable and kids bunks were cool). Waterpark was great but cold. Went for buffet breakfast and chef chris was great. He made me a special order breakfast to accomodate my allergies. Laser tag and 4d movie cost extra and there are others fees such as a reort fee and parking.

Great family friendly hotel

Lots of stuff for kids to do. Great pool and waterslide, plus an arcade, 4D theatre and laser challenge. Only thing that could use improvement is that their wasn't a lot of stuff for adults to do after the kids go to bed. The pool bar closes early and the hotel bar isn't open that late either.

Pros: The room set up was great. Family friendly and spacious.
Cons: The service in the dining facility was terrible. There was one waiter servicing all of the tables. There seemed to be a manager but she did not help
Location: Location was close to everything.
The hotel was nice - you can tell they are updating. The water park was never open while we were there.
