Roaches with your room

We book 2 rooms at the Studio 6 for a tournament for 3 nights each, really just needing a clean place to sleep and shower as you spend most of your day at the tournament location. Upon arriving my husband noticed how shabby the room looked overall and looked nothing like the pictures online! Furniture pieces were mismatched (neither room had the same furniture) the tub had visible patch work in 10-12 spots that were not finished and the mini fridge & microwave were well used with scratches, dents and chips. But the worst was the dead bugs found in spots around the room (bees, ants and roaches)...made you feel the room had not been cleaned. Our roach experience got worse as we encountered live roaches everywhere, each day! Crawling on the bed, out of the drains, over and inside our luggage and on the floors and walls! With no rooms to move to and not an available room for 20 miles under $200 a night, we resorted to buy bug spray, storing our suitcases in the car and staying in the room as little as possible. Our coach allowed us to shower at his hotel room! And at $100 a night, it was a big waste. We had booked to stay there 2 other times in the next 3 weeks but have cancelled those reservations and booked clean, reliable hotels we've stayed at before for $65 more per night. I'd never recommend this property to a vagrant much less a friend!

Dear Sporty Mom, I am terribly sorry your recent stay here at Studio 6 was a disappointment. it is however unlikely for our housekeeping staff in particular to endorse unkempt room for guest's occupancy. We however take our guests' feedback very seriously and the detailed problems you encountered will be reported to our management for evaluation and immediate action. I do hope we could have the opportunity of serving you better. Kind regards.

Studio 6

It was a non smoking room that smelled of terrible smoke. It was a hotel that people lived in, smoking right outside of our door. We also did not feel very safe

False advertisement

The pictures on the website show a pretty, updated place. The fact of the matter is that must be just one room. The place is a dump. First room we got, the AC had the knows broken off and looked like someone had ejaculated all over it. Would not get cool. Asked for a new room. They gave us a new room but with only a king size bed. Hard for 3 full size men to sleep together. There were hypodermic needles laying on the stairs. The carpet was filthy and smelled like an animal has crapped all over it. There's folks living there which is scary as hell. The staff however was very nice. Too bad such beautiful and kind ladies are working in this place.

Absolutely disgusting! Don't stay here!

This hotel is super run down. Their pictures and website are really deceiving. The sheets and blankets were stained. Luckily I had a friend driving out who could bring our own pillows, blankets, and sheets. He sink and the tub take forever to drain. The carpet was super questionable so we made sure we were never barefoot. There was some kind of red chunky bodily fluids on the iron board in the room. The door wasn't fit properly so light came in through the cracks of the door. I was so close to eating the overpriced cost I had paid and leaving as soon as I got there to go somewhere else. But it was only one night and we were going to be out and about so we stayed for the night. Oh and the best part is that my flight landed just before 1 and I called to see if I could check in early but they said no because they were busy and still cleaning rooms. Not really sure what it is that they were cleaning.

Ready for a major remodel

Pros: Front desk staff tried to be very helpful.
Cons: Needs major remodel of all rooms, doors, walkways, parking lot.
Location: Reasonably close to Disneyland and other Anaheim sites.
Hotel is old and worn, not competitive with others in the area. Room was small and tight, spread was dirty, tub had chipped porcelain, toilet was too low with seat very loose. Entry door was very banged up and threshold was too high - made it hard for a guest with mobility challenges. Staff seem to be trying to please but the facilities need extensive remodeling or perhaps major overhaul. Compared to other hotels in the area it is a very slight bargain, but not worth it. I would rather spend $20 more and get an up to date hotel. Also, parking lot is very tight. Overall arrangement of the property makes safety and security difficult.

Quality Inn

Pros: The location
Cons: Cleaner and comfortable beds and restroom. Beds were really noisy and old.
Looking at the online images, reviews, and facilities I was disappointed by the hotels overall turnout. It needs cleaner and comfortable beds and restroom. Beds were really noisy and old. I had a hard time finding parking space.

Not what we expected

The room stunk, when we walked in its the first thing we noticed (musty smell), and cigarette burns in the bedding. People living there and shady things going on outside. The only thing ok was the gentlemen that checked us in, very nice even after checking out only after 2 hours of being there.

Good Value for Families

Stayed here for a family trip to DisneyLand. Was close to the park - easy commute. Check-in was quick, rooms were clean. Pool and jacuzzi were closed - "out of order" which was disappointing. We were on the 3rd floor and other guests ran back and forth on the walkway, which shook the room. Expensive make-up turned up "missing" after housekeeping. Reported to management, but nothing was done.
