The Waterloo Quality Inn is one of several chain hotels in the area. Good rooms, on site parking and a pool. Good breakfast with hot food and other selections. HOWEVER....We had booked a queen suite room for the additional space. BE AWARE...the queen suite is NOT a suite. It is a standard double queen room with a kitchenette. ONE ROOM. NO suite. We asked at the front desk and were advised that the only true suite rooms were the king suite which is actually two rooms. False advertising, misrepresentation, suite-no-suite, call it what you may, but we were very disappointed and not able to receive any price adjustment from either Travelocity or the hotel itself. They claimed we got what we paid for. We claimed the room was misrepresented and should not be priced the same as the king suite. Buyer beware...if a suite is important to you, call the hotel directly and ask how many rooms this "suite" has. Suite by definition is more than one. Words have meaning. At best this "queen suite" is misrepresented. I'm surprised they haven't received multiple complaints on a regular basis from people receiving a different room than they thought they were booking. The Queen Suite should be renamed as a Double Queen with a kitchenette and priced accordingly, less than a King Suite.

Easy to reserve on short notice

Pros: Easy access to everything
Location: Easy access to mall resturants. Great location!

Note that this is an extended stay hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: no breakfast
The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. Management should be proud of all of them. I was somewhat caught by surprise that this is an extended stay motel, which means no continental breakfast and no maid service, except once a week. For business travelers, I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are awesome. For someone planning a day or two stay, not so much. Unless you want to make your own bed, take out your garbage, exchange towels, and cook in the room. I need to read the fine print on my reservations.

Be prepared to do it yourself

There is no daily maid service at this hotel. If you want clean towels you have to take your used towels to the front desk and trade them in. Any daily maid service is "do it yourself", which would be ok if you weren't paying such a high price for the privilege. We have to stay in a hotel in Waterloo from time to time, but never again at this place.
