Ko Olina Beach Villas Resort

92-106 Waialii Place, Kapolei - Map
We had such a fabulous week at the beach villas.  The beach was right there! The pool was absolutely beautiful and was perfect for two busy four year olds. The room was clean and temperatures were fabulous.  We loved opening the lanai and watching the sun rise and fall.  We had a fabulous trip because of the location of our "home."

"Perfect Hotel for Waikiki on a budget!"
The coconut Waikiki has to have been one of the best hotels I've ever been to! My partner and I stayed in the Queensize-city view room, which had an excellent view overlooking the canal, plus the balcony made for plenty of relaxing views of the sunrise/sunset. The best part about it had to be the location, we were about a 15 minute walk from the beach, and just down the road from the shops/ restaurants! :) The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we ended up having to book another night at the last minute, we still were able to keep our same room. All in all we would rate it 4.5/5 ★ Will be back again sometime in the future!! :)

"Good on a budget"
Old hotel with an update, good location to the beach, shopping, food, and all you may need is within a 10 min drive or short walk. With being on a main road there can be a lot of noise from vehicles. Room fridge had a really bad smell to it but the rest of the room was nice. Parking is $35 a night but better than dealing with busses and cabs.

"Our First Stay With Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel"
Our experience with Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel was a relationship with mixed feelings. To start things off - the location of the hotel was great. The beach was a street cross away and scenery was a view to die for. Convenience was a huge plus, with all the food and shopping options nearby. The main concern that arose during our stay was the amenity charge, which includes: Breakfast, WIFI, television channels, and movies. The charge alone was the only real gripe we had with our stay with Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. Half the channels were skipping, most of the movies were not working, and the WIFI connection was horrid. We called for the tv connection to be serviced and was told by the engineer it was the channels that was causing the issue and that was that. We did not want to spend too much time trying to re-mediate these issues during our stay. We totally understand that a vacation in Hawaii should be spent out and about, but if we are charged to pay that amount for amenities, I expect the quality to reflect the price. We voiced our concerns at checkout and our rep Geri was very helpful, but not much could be done with the daily amenity charges. I do not believe our expectations for the amenities to be unreasonable. With that said, I would still recommend Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel if you find the amenity charge to be a trivial thing.

Stay Hotel Waikiki

You get what you pay for. The hotel was clean and tidy but one that I would consider a transitioning hotel. It's older and while many things have been updated many are also in need of attention. The main floor in our room was an old laminate floor that was badly dis colored from all the use over the years. Meanwhile, the bathroom floor looked like it had been redone within the past few years and was a faux wood. The tub didn't seal so we had to place one of the plastic cups on top of the plug. The bed was VERY comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. We stayed in a boutique queen room and had a mini fridge and nice flat screen tv. The lobby was clean and had fun hanging pod type chairs. They also had a serve Yourself orange infused water that was perfect to cool off. The hotel is located just behind the main strip so while there was some street noise, it was NOTHING compared to other similar hotels we've stayed at on the main strip.
