This is a big hotel with newly updated rooms and lobby. Room was clean and lovely and staff were friendly. This was not a great location for my family's vacation. Not much around the area without a pretty significant walk or 20 min or so on the subway that is a couple of blocks away.

Convenient location but don’t look for bells and whistles. Super friendly staff but an American chain that comes with just that. If you are looking to be more immersed in German culture then this is not the place for you.

Great location to BMW

Pros: Liked the executive lounge and the hotels proximity to BMW/Olympic Park
Cons: Improved toilets and more staff for breakfast as well as more coffee machines
Location: Outside of the city in a quiet neighborhood (no sirens, etc.) but very convenient to the English garden, BMW World Center.
We are Marriott members (gold level) and have stayed at a variety of their properties in Europe and North America. We were disappointed by several items in this hotel. Room wise: the new toilets save water, but barely get reg. toilet paper down; the room itself is nice, clean, no complaints there. The executive lounge and all the food and drinks there were very nice. Did not need to go out for dinner. Breakfast on the other hand was way understaffed and one new self-serve coffee machine is definitely not enough for a large breakfast crowd. 2-3 machines should be a minimum. In addition the staff should be available right away to fix issues on the machine and also provide reg. and decaf. coffee upon request. It appeared only clean-up personnel was available that day.
