Beachfront hotel

Pros: Reasonable priced for beachfront. Also right next to Dairy Queen and the open area with stage.
Hotel was nice and clean. Enjoyed having a microwave and refrigerator in room. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have a separate living room with a desk. Pool was nice, but a little small.

Never Again

This hotel is not kept in good condition whatsoever. There are tripping hazards everywhere around the common areas and hallways. My wife sprained her ankle on one of the the unlit steps in the parking garage. There was mold throughout the room, drywall patches, delaminating cabinetry. Had to purchase mold killer immediately after checking into the room just to get the smell out of air. Coffee maker had used coffee and coffee filter was used and not removed or cleaned. Minutes after checking into the room, housekeeping entered the room without knocking and was smoking which subsequently went throughout the room but smelled better than the mold.

Cramped parking

The only real downfall the hotel has is the parking. It's a little cramped, especially the lower level. The pool was just the right temp. View was perfect and price was reasonable. Would probably stay again if I ever decided to go back to VA Beach but it's not my favorite beach.

NEVER AGAIN

Pros: On the beach
Cons: New ownership
Sure, Virginia Beach is nice, but not when you can't sleep. Hotel didn't disclose that they were RIGHT NEXT TO CONCERT VENUE UNTIL 11 PM, followed by LIVE MUSIC ON BOARDWALK UNTIL 3:45 AM! Needless to say, we didn't sleep. Then they hotel closed the indoor pool when it was raining (no thunderstorms). Hotel staff incredibly rude and disrespectful when we complained and would not offer apology. We'll never stay here again!!!!

Great location and ocean view, good management

Pros: Location and some and improvements made in rooms.
Cons: It would be nice if the pool had a heater. It would be so much nicer for kids. It was a little cold, even after it was 90 degrees out.
Location: All of VA beach...so fun!
Pleasant, professional staff and Management. We will definitely come again. Good location! Front desk had a good sense of humor and welcoming.

The room was nice and big, especially for the price. It was clean. The door didn't shut properly and the handle to the bedroom door was also broken. The room appeared to be in the middle of being updated. There was fresh paint, a new couch and other modern touches. Some of the other furniture needed replacing. Access to the beach was through the parking garage and a gross puddle of water. Great for one night.

Worst hotel ever

I just spent one nught there. My stay was horrible...no customer service at all...the room was dirty... The bath tub look terrible. No housekeeping sercice... I ask for towel the front office told me to get it myself... Please please do not go there..i know itsna good but u get what u pay for which is nothing

Nice location BUT NEVER AGAIN!!

Pros: Large, clean, nice balcony loved the Jacuzzi tub. Housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. Microwave, fridge, cupboards, dresser drawers.
Cons: The hotel staff and the way they book rooms and rectify problems, how slow the elevator is. Vending needs to be on all floors.
Location: Beachfront, Atlantic Avenue. Boardwalk, King Neptune statue, lots of free shows and music, shopping galore Virginia Zoo, Rudee's dolphin tours
After an 11 hour road trip because of traffic, we get to the hotel to be told we didn't have a reservation for that night even though we had the confirmation in our hand. They had changed owners and apparently it was for the worst. Sat in their "lobby" which was in a box in the parking lot with no more than room for 3 people to stand in there for more than an hour waiting for them to rectify their mistake. Meanwhile, they were waiting on people that came in after us instead of finding us a room that we already paid for. After another customer who had only paid for 2 rooms and had 3 rooms tied up (this is the one that came in after us) decided which room she didn't want we finally got a room. EXACTLY why didn't they give us the room that was open??? Because they were trying to charge us twice and more for a room we already paid for. We had problems with the staff the whole 4 days we were there. Did they offer us a free dinner or a voucher or a percent off what we already paid for the aggravation of not having a room when we got there, NO! Too Bad, sucks to be you is pretty much what we got told. Then they tried to tell us we didn't pay for the room because they wanted to charge us the going rate for that week. The point of booking 3 months ahead was to get it a little cheaper. Unfriendly, unprofessional, not helpful hotel staff and of course when half the people that booked a room wanted to complain to the owner they were not available.
