Great location with very minor issues
Terrific location with easy access to the city. The property is large. There were a few minor issues. The TVs were “mirrored” so one TV controlled all the others. We could not watch different shows on different TVs as they would automatically change channels to the same thing. Contour TV was the only choice with no option to use other streaming services. TV instructions were missing. The fabric softener fragrance was pleasant but overwhelming and we had to wash bedding before use. The 2 HVAC systems were ok, but it was difficult to keep the downstairs warm in winter. Check-out instructions differed in the email and the property booklet. The owners charge a cleaning fee (not unusual) but the check-out cleaning was more than other properties ask for. We were irritated by the fee when there was such a long cleaning list. We would stay at this property again. It was comfortable and in a good location. The space was nice, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.

We are a family of 7 and house was just the right size to have space yet enjoy each other’s company. The back porch is a great morning hideaway. Quiet neighborhood. Sidewalks for easy and safe daily walks. We will be renting this home again when we’re back in VA Beach. Thank you for everything Armando!

VA Beach Fun
I really enjoyed my stay here. The area was really nice and there were stores nearby. I loved how spacious the house was and very clean! The balcony in the master bedroom was my favorite. It was really relaxing to enjoy the large background. I contacted the owner about a light & he was very helpful. I recommend this place!!! I will be back!

The owner is very nice, neighborhood is nice as well. The house has almost everything you'll need. Comfortable! Pros: - Great location-easy for door dash - TV in each bedroom - Comfortable beds - Strong shower pressure - Washer/Dryer works well - Clean linens Cons -Clean but some spots were not super clean such as the floor trim and behind the doors -Faint smell of cats -Missing dvds from boxes -weird way of turning on netflix etc thru dvd player -Needs updating (seems like an old bachelor pad) Overall, it was a good stay and plenty of room. I'd stay again

Great for a sense of community
The property in itself is gorgeous. There is wear and tear as is in any home that is more evident in person than in the images. It is clearly a rental property and not owner occupied but well kept. The layout of the space allows to enjoy time with family without having to split up. Minor inconveniences due to this but overall amazing stay!

Leak from kitchen ceiling, pungent smell, live roach near dinette area …..
If you could overlook live ants & a cockroach in the kitchen, walk around a bowl in the kitchen walkway collecting drips of water from leaking ceiling, arrive to a pungent smell inside the home upon arrival and deal with owners who were sympathetic when you stayed there but barely gave a credit on your stay…. Good luck! It was the worst rental yet for a family gathering!
