    Not worth the money

I stay at hotels approximately 70 nights a year between work and pleasure. This place was sad! I felt like my room was the size of a closet for 150$ a night. Front desk employees were not at all friendly. Each cottage shared a common space with between 6 separate rooms that had a dorm size refrigerator, 12"x14" bar sink and a 50$ microwave. Parking at restaurant was the same area as were park visitors would park for a free day out. The restaurant was way over priced for the quality of the food and would not suggest this place to anyone. Also, grass was two and a half feet high around the cottage we stayed in.

The restaurant located in Bear Mountain inn has great food quality and highly recommended. About our room inside the cottage, I have to say that was not convenient at all. You could hear all other residents talking and watching TV, the walls were not soundproof.

Could be so nice, but isn't.

Hotel is very run down, lots of trash surrounding cabin. Our room had a twin bed, when we booked a queen. We stayed in one of the stone cottages that is separate from the inn. There are 6 rooms which share a common area. The common area and room are very dark and worn. Very little pressure in the shower. The biggest problem is that the thermostat is shared in the common area. During our stay, another guest kept setting the thermostat on 80. It just became very uncomfortable.
