      Poor customer service Smallest room imaginable Smelly toilet cracked TV No satellite signal for TV Soft worn out mattress Broken door to the Toilet Finiky front Door Charge to hold your luggage I didn't like the experience of this place at all. The lobby is not located in the entrance, it's located in the 4th floor. There's no greeter that will let you know that either so you just have to find anyone that happens to be walking by with a Yotel Tshirt. I called twice before to request an early check in. The second time they confirmed my early check in with a text message. When i showed up they said they forgot to add me to the list. I finally make my way to my room. It was depressingly small and in bad shape. The bathroom door would get stuck and not close. The toilet was no more than 7 feet from the mattress and had a terrible odor at all times of the day. The mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. The TV was cracked and would constantly drop it's signal. The front door would not close unless forcefully pulled from the outside. The hotel hallways and lobby area are engulfed with the smell of cheap perfume. They will charge you for holding on to your luggage EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE STAYING WITH THEM. I've travelled to New York many times, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

      Management has no sense of customer service

      The room was not ready upon check in, and once we were finally checked in, the room offered was the WRONG room. Management initially refused to provide the room booked (terrace with city views) because I had "booked through a 3rd party." It took showing proof of email confirmation, the photo listed on the website and nearly 30 minutes of debate, before management begrudgingly put me into a room SIMILAR to what was booked (still not the exact room). Ironically, management was only going to offer ONE comped breakfast (I booked 5 nights) in lieu of putting me in the room I reserved, but once they changed my room, they rescinded the breakfast. Petty. The room itself was comfortable, but dingy: there were stains on the carpet, the bathroom curtain, and dirty/sticky spots on the bedside table. Although there was decent water pressure in the shower, I was put into an "accessible" room, so the curtain was constantly blowing in and wrapping around my ankles, offering about a 1' width of space to shower in. The terrace view and hot tub were nice, minus the insane number of mosquitos present - I went home with an impressive amount of itchy bug bites. There was a weird perfume smell in the lobby and hallways which was very off-putting, but the decor was tasteful otherwise. It would've been nice to have basics in the room like tea/coffee (which would still fit within their "flight simulated experience" - even on the most basic of flights are you offered that, but alas.

      The room was not in great shape with some blinds not functioning, some mildew, carpet did not smell great, soap dispensers empty, etc. There was also facility charge on check out that was not disclosed ahead of time, the printed restaurant menu choices were not available

      it felt a bit grubby since my last visit, as clearly its a busy hotel. The rooms just felt a bit dirty and after staying in my room all afternoon and evening I woke up with bites on my ankle, which must have come from the room. I was moved to another with no apology really or compensation.
