Convenient to Subway and Office

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, subway close by
Cons: Noisy, close to subway tracks
This hotel was close to my office and restaurants were close by. The room was roomy and clean. I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. Good value for the money.

Quality Inn LIC

The place is clean and neat and it's located a few minutes from Manhattan. The rates are not expensive and they include a self service breakfast. The front desk was friendly and I would recommend this place even for short stayings.

No good!

Location: the neighborhood is not the best with garbage and graffiti everywhere. I would not feel safe working alone. The staff: rude and not helpful period. The room: very small Breakfast: fair. I will never stay there again, especially for more than a day or two.

Great hotel for NYC visits

We stayed here for a family outing to NYC with two kids. We were truly impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff and the very helpful attitudes of the front desk staff. In addition, the hotel was clean and newly built. I would happily recommend this hotel.

Nice clean hotel, helpful staff , would recommened

I stayed for 4 days over the 4th of July weekend and was very pleased with the hotel and staff. Our room was always clean and the staff was really very pleasant. If your looking for a clean hotel with easy access to getting into Manhatten this is the hotel for you. The "N" Subway to the 39th Street station and 1 1/2 blocks and your at the hotel. If your not driving from the airport take the M60 bus to Astoria Blvd then catch the "N" Train. If your looking for a good meal ask at the desk for the restaurant at the endge of the Subway steps. Food is great. Good deal for the price and location, I'll stay again

Quality Inn the Name

As the title suggests, this hotel is Quality. Quality service, quality rooms, quality amenities and quality location. A stones throw away from the subway which leads you straight into Manhattan. Time Square only a few stops away. Ideal for families, friends and those romantic couples. If you want to enjoy New York City to its fullest, this is the place to make your pit stop.\nEnjoy.

Recommended Hotel- Affordable and Good Location

Having visited NY previously, I am only too well aware of the extortionate prices I expect to pay for accommodation, until I was recommended to stay at Quality Inn in Long Island City. Very reasonably priced, and a short travelling time into Manhatten meant this hotel was ideal for me. The room was fully equiped with all comforts I needed and more, whilst the hotel iteslf provided the extra amenities to ensure a comfortable vacation to the city. The business center facilities and free internet access meant that it was well suited to cater for my friend who was there on business. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops and transportation links provided an excellent location for the hotel. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay here, which was enhanced by the friendliness and assistance provided by staff and management alike.

Not so hot

A TripAdvisor Member \nAlthough this hotel is new and inexpensive for New York, please be advised that the neighborhood is not the best. There is garbage and graffiti everywhere and although we didn't feel unsafe, it certainly isn't an area of any interest to tourists. Restaurants, shops, etc. are at least a five minute walk away and they are not much--coffee shops and corner stores. \nThe subways are convenient, but noisy, and you can hear them outside your window all night. The N train did not run frequently, so we walked to Queensboro Plaza (about 8 blocks). \nThe staff wasn't helpful and several times gave us directions or suggestions that proved incorrect or uninformed (e.g store closed, laundromat not self-serve). \nThe rooms are small by any standards save for Manhattan. \nThe internet worked great. Breakfast was okay. \nNot sure if I'd stay there again, especially for more than a day or two (we were there a week).
