Be careful of charges

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Honesty about charges for incidentals. You should be given a queen bed when pay for one. Don’t imply that you will have a city view.
Location: Location just a few steps from Times Square and subway station. Also very close to Rockefeller Center.
Beware about charges for incidentals. Our room charge for 2 nights was 600,04, A ridiculous charge of $373 was held on our card for incidentals. It took about one week to come off. They did not tell us about the charge. I found it after I got home. Also do not waste your money on a city view. All we could see was the building across the road from the 4th floor. We also paid extra for a queen bed but was given a full size bed. This is a shame these things happened since it is in a wonderful location. It was very clean and staff was awesome.

Friendly Staff, but Uncomfortable Rooms

I've stayed in the Night Hotel before, but this time was significantly different from the first. The hotel Staff was still very friendly and accommodating, but the room itself was not great. The room was very tiny and we had two twin beds. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower was also low, so the water came out of the shower in a trickle. The friend I was traveling with also woke up with hives, which we think was a reaction to the detergent or fabric softener used on the sheets. The first time I stayed here was a much better experience and I do not think that I will stay here again.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your kind words regarding the staff. I apologize deeply for the inconvenience you and your friend had experienced with us during your stay. I have spoken with you over the phone a few times regarding the Hives from an allergic reaction. I am happy she is well. I hope that on your Next visit to NYC should you decide to give us another chance we can better accommodate you and provide a much better experience. We look forward to welcoming you back! May you have a wonderful day ~

Clean but very small

There are only 2 small elevators for the whole hotel. When we arrived, only one was working. luckily we were on the 2nd floor so we were able to take the stairs most of the time. As for the room, wow, so small. I felt like we were in a closet. We had the superior king room. There was enough space for a night stand on both sides of the bed. I had to tilt my head to walk around the base of the bed so I didn't hit my head on the television hanging on the wall. Overall it was clean and safe which is what mattered. However, it should be called a micro king room.

negatives: tiny, tiny bathroom, door must be closed to use the sink properly. i could hear the conversations from people next door or above me thru the vents. 2 very slow, very small elevators that seem to stop on every floor during busy times. positives: clean. nice people work there. overall good for the price. great location and price for times square.

Nice hotel close to Time Square

Pros: Location
Location: Theater, dining, subway, Time Square
Our first 2 nights our room was street side, lots of horn honking until late into the night. The lot next door is under construction, we were 2nd room from the construction that had much jack hammering. But....the hotel was very responsive once we logged our complaint and moved us to a different room away from the street and construction. The next 2 nights were wonderful! Cannot ask for a more convenient placed hotel, centrally located to Time Square, theaters, dining and subway.

4 star hotel? NOPE !

Pros: I will never return.
Cons: they hotel should be forthcoming with the construction happening right next to the hotel.
Location: the location was great.
when we arrived at the hotel, there was extremely loud construction noises.....so loud, we couldn't hear the concierge! A hotel that claims to be 4 stars should not have ripped up carpeting where you can trip over it, loose bathroom sink, and the shower was dirty and smelled like a gym locker room. Luckily, we spent most of the time out of the room. we were woken up at 7am by the same loud construction. we also went to the bar for a drink and ended up leaving because the bartender was ignoring us and it wasn't even crowded.
