"Great Location with a very friendly staff."
We were extremely pleased with our accommodations, as the location was perfect for our first visit to NYC. The rooms were larger than many we compared at booking. Double Queens were hard to find elsewhere. They also have a happy hour complimentary wine service from 5-6 in the lobby.

"Beautiful hotel in a great location!"
Stayed for a long weekend to reunite with college friends (I'm a NYC native), which included a concert at the Beacon Theater (right next door). Hotel is very conveniently located in the upper west side of New York, right near the subway. There are a lot of attractions near by within walking distance. There is a market and drug store right across the street- and our room had a kitchenette and refrigerator/microwave. Views of the Hudson river were great (I was on floor 25), looking just past the historic Dakota (no, I didn't see Ono). Staff was great and very professional.friendly. The hotel manager actually sought me out to inquire if everything was perfect about our stay- and it was. I will return to this hotel.

"A great experience at Stewart Hotek"
Jenny at the front desk was wonderful. We had 2 rooms in our reservation - both exceeded our expectations. We had a beautiful outside patio off our room - but oddly, no patio chairs or anything on it so we couldn't use it. The room was large by NYC standards, and quite comfortable. I noticed the air vents had thick dust on them, which kind of grossed me out a bit. The bathroom felt kind of dirty. (Am I the only one who is so bothered by dirty light switches?) But overall, very comfortable.

Loved that this hotel was easy to get to, close to subway connection and all of Times Square! Friendly staff. Glad they could hold our bags before check-in so we could enjoy the city. Felt safe and secure. Great view of Empire State Building.

"Perfect winter stay"
Pros: friendly attentive staff, room view, room price reasonable and location to public transportation, restaurants, bars. Cons: toilet made pressure noises every half hour/hour, down bedding (if you're allergic, let housekeeping know right away and they will accommodate), smell from horse carriage rides would probably not be too pleasant during the warmer months.

"Excellent hotel - very comfortable, classy rooms"
Loved my stay at the Gramercy - my room was spacious, well appointed comfortable and classy. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the downstairs bartenders are attentive, creative and fun - no pretense! Great location for me with access to Flatiron area and terrific selection of local restaurants ranging from select bar food, top notch Italian to very good Indian food. I got a great deal in an off month and would love to stay here again if rates come down a bit.

"Great location, comfortable stay"
The location was great, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's great to be able to walk right through to Grand Central Station where you can take the subway everywhere. The only problem we faced is that our teenage children went for breakfast alone and the wait staff took advantage. They poured them juice when they didn't ask for it, refills, etc. and it was VERY pricey. It was definitely a case where they were taken advantage of. But the hotel itself was very nice. You could get a more affordable breakfast right there...and it had good options, tasty muffins, yogurt, fruit etc. (which I would recommend for a grab and go) but no where to really sit but in the lobby. For the price, I think there should have been complimentary morning coffee like I find at most hotels. I would definitely stay there again.
