"Great hotel and location "
Great hotel and location although contruction, crowds and traffic made it very difficult to arrive at the hotel to check in and to check out. Hotel is right in the corner of Time Square action and is very modern and in great condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

"Nice hotel great location. "
The best thing about the hotel was the location, within walking distance to many attractions. There is a subway stop at the corner which makes it very easy to go up or downtown. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn to a friend.

Hotel was well located but, upon checking in, we were informed that there was an extra fee of $30.00 per day for amenities. That fee should have been disclosed when we made the reservation. The maids were especially nice and accommodating, as was the concierge.

"They don't like Travelocity!"
We have stayed at the Beacon Hotel many times. After a few times of staying in smaller, louder, no view rooms I learned to request a higher floor, corner room which was amazing. I made the request this time and called the hotel to confirm. When we arrived I was told my request could not be accommodated because I booked with Travelocity. I was told they could not make changes and I should have called the hotel directly to reserve. The suite we stayed in was smaller, the sink had cracks, one of the drawers in the kitchen would not open, all of which are minor. I was mostly disappointed because I was looking forward to a corner room with amazing views.

"Adequate hotel if you can get a good deal"
I got an Travelocity deal for $200. For that amount this was adequate. But don't pay full price for this hotel. If you stay here and you want a window that you can see out of you should ask for that. My window was frosted so you couldn't see out of it (room 212). If you just need a place to sleep this is a great place...it's very quiet. Staff was very helpful and nice and my room was very clean. But be aware this hotel doesn't meet normal standard of a Kimpton hotel.
