disappointing

Pros: people were friendly
Cons: More functional, cleaner bathroom, and WiFi that actually work.
The bathroom was very unclean and smell of mildew. The tub faucet was loose and was difficult to turn on and off. The sink did not drain very well and was clogged most of the time. WiFi did not work at all when connected.

downtown hotel

Pro: he location of the hotel is great, as it is in the middle of the downtown.  Con: They only offer valet parking at $50 per 24hrs. The rooms were also not what I expected. I was given a kings suite and for some reason it was tiny and not what I would call a suite. It was a 1 room vacancy with a pull out couch in the same room. I've stayed at far cheaper hotels and at least the sofa bed was in another room and more spacious.

Good for the Price

Pros: Quiet
A friend and I stayed here one night while in NY. It is definitely an older building, and they are in the process of upgrading some of the rooms. The room we stayed in was nice, but you could tell it was an older room. The bed was really comfortable, and we slept easily. It's a little off the beaten path, but it's worth staying here unless you feel like paying $400 a night somewhere else.

very small but great quality

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
The room was very small but great quality! Location was great for walking. Very good, expensive but New York is expensive.

Clean hotel, but far from the action

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet
This was a clean hotel and the staff was very nice, but it was a long walk to Times Square and Broadway to see shows. We ended up taking taxi cabs because the walk was so long, and it ended up costing us more money than we saved in the long run.

NYC One Day Baseball Trip

Pros: Quiet
Great place to stay! Definitely fits the Hilton brand. Good location for the sights. A little far from nearest subway station (Grand Central Terminal) but good exercise. Room was very spacious compared to some I've stayed in NYC. Overall great for the price and type of quick one day trip!
