Disappointed Stay

Pros: price was reasonable
Cons: customer service, odor in rooms and outdated furniture
I had a need to change my initial reservation dates, Travelocity was willing to help me with this change but hotel staff was unwilling to accommodate any change to my reservation dates. Staff was rude on the phone and were especially rude in person. They spoke to me in a condescending manner and brushed me off. Hotel rooms do not match the images featured. Rooms are TINY and very dated. There was barely enough space to walk in the room. Although the room was a non-smoking room there was a definite odor in the room that would not go away. I did not feel safe with the room and was constantly worried someone would break into my room. Very basic accommodations. Parking was extremely limited and there was no other alternative offered by the hotel. This was very disappointing because it was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel.

Great place to stay while seeing NYC

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, quick train ride to manhattan
Cons: Noisy
This is a short cab ride from LGA, and a 2 minute walk to the 7 train. The neighborhood is safe, room small, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is normal hotel fare, nothing great, but clean and easy. I will stay ere again, it's reasonably priced, and very convieniat.

I had a great stay!!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: lightning and thunder killed the sattelite tv
I had a king suite, it was by no means the biggest room but it was really nice and everything was in it. (except an iron, but the front desk gave me one when I asked) The guy behind the counter was friendly and funny and when I was starving he knew where to send me and told me everything that delivered. The 7 Train was really close. The bed was super comfy and they had a million pillows lol. I would most def stay again! :O) Even though the street is busy I heard nothing in my room.

Reluctantly Recommend

Good location at only a few subway stops from Manhattan, and good price. Reasonably clean. Rude staff.

Good place for short business trips or if you're in town for one night.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy, Poor breakfast
The room was clean but the bathroom sink barely hung on the wall and leaked all over the floor. There was no place in the bathroom to put anything down, like your toothpaste or hair brush. Very little parking and not much close by, a 7-11 around the corner was always open but not much else. We stayed from Friday to Sunday so I can't say what might be open during the week. Staff is a little difficult to understand and not very helpful but courteous. Don't ask the staff for a cab or you will get a private company that will cost 5 times what a city cab cost. You are better off flagging one yourself.

Dont Stay Here

There are many reasons why this hotel is awful. -Prices for one night can range from $*-$* a night. They pick prices according to what they think they can get out of you. -The elevator is scary and was under maintenance. -The staircase leads out to queens blvd and doesn't lock from the outside, anyone can wonder into the hotel. -Got a room/key to another persons room. I could have easily stolen another persons belongings, but instead i asked for a vacant room. -Parking is first come first serve, nearest parking is approximately 8 miles away. -Lobby receptionist was rude and unaccommodating. Positives, they take cash. They do this because they are scam artists. Staying in this hotel was one of the worst experiences of my life, and i was there for less than two hours. I had to refuse to sleep in the bed and leave NYC at 2am and drive home to Buffalo with no sleep. When asking for a refund of the difference between the minimum price and the price we paid ($*.) They would not return the $*. It wasn't worth the money to wait for a manager to arrive at the building in the morning. The rooms were very small, the bed took up all of the space in the entire room. the bathroom doors were unable to stay open so the room stayed steamy forever, i could smell cigarette/marijuana smoke, and i could also smell goats. and curry.
