The sheets had stains and had to request new sheets. I eventually just left them. We were woke up every morning between 9-10am by house keeping. We kept telling her to come back and she would never come back. The bathrooms were not well cleaned and the sink splashed water all over the counter when you used it. The front desk staff were the best of part of the stay but we will not stay here again.

We are so happy that you enjoyed the service our of front desk and offer out most sincere apology for the less than perfect housekeeping service that you experienced. We take great pride in our service and truly are sorry as our Team really is exceptional. We do make mistakes, and always do our best to correct them to prevent them from happening again.

Didn't honor paid in advance Travelocity booking!

Pros: Nothing. Looked great until they shipped me off to a dark and dismal hotel called the Ace. I paid in advance yet was sent packing.
Cons: Don't list their hotel on Travelocity. They complained that I should have booked with them directly. How was I supposed to know that?
Location: Great location, if you get a room.
Here is the email I sent to the GM who has yet to respond. I sent this a week ago. To Amy Reimer, I was deeply disappointed when I arrived at your hotel only to find my room was not only not available but I was going to be rebooked into another hotel without having any option to choose which hotel it would be. The desk attendant told me he was booking me in the Troubadour but after waiting for over twenty minutes I was told I was going to the Ace. This hotel is not a place I would consider ever! It is dark, dismal and exceptionally disgusting. I am not a hipster and this choice of relocation was unacceptable. I would like to be refunded for this inconvenience which left me without any options given my late arrival. I had called in the evening just to confirm I would be arriving late at which point no mention of your hotel giving my room away was brought up. The attendant blamed it on how I booked the room through Travelocity but this is just an excuse. I frequently travel to NOLA as do many from my company and I can't understate how disruptive and wrong this was. If your hotel does not honor bookings made from such search engines I would highly recommend you remove your listings from their website. I do expect a response for this inconvenience. Thank you

Cool hotel. Very convenient. Great bar area.

Pros: Good location (convenient). Very nice décor.
Cons: No suggestions.
Location: Close proximity to both Poydras and Canal Street. Good restaurants within walking distance.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a great "vibe."

Hotel stay at international house

This place was great!! The hotel is older has unique charm is extremely close to everything you would want to do. It's a couple blocks from the French quarter, walking distance to any stores, restaurants, or bars you'd want to go to. I even went down to the French markets, Jackson square and the river walk. All easily done if you want to be out for a couple hours sightseeing. Service was great, hotel was extremely quiet! That was a huge plus!!!!

Amazing experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the International hotel . The staff were welcoming and friendly . I loved the atmosphere and ambiance especially during the evening . The art pieces placed throughout the lobby were lovely .The live music and breakfast in the morning were a pleasant surprise ! I will definitely return to this gem placed inside of the French quarter .

Close walk to French Quarter. Location was good.

Pros: The hotel receptionist was exceptionally helpful and I would give her a 5 star.
Cons: The scent that they have in the hotel was a little overpowering for us. I would tone it down a bit.
Location: restaurants, french quarter, bourbon street
This hotel was different. The bar was small and did not carry domestic beer. The bellman was very friendly...said he'd get us a bucket of ice (2 different times) and we never received it. I will say the hotel was in a great location.

Great location for a New Orleans visit

Location: 3 minute walk to the French Quarter, lot's of nearby coffee shops for a quick breakfast.
Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic location. It's a three minute walk to the French Quarter but by crossing Canal Street & walking up a block and a half to the hotel, you're away from the craziness. Also, just walk around the block to the St. Charles streetcar stop. Rooms are small but comfortable - reminded us of many of the European hotel rooms we've stayed in. Nice towels, linens, toiletries in the bathroom; and a ceiling fan allowed us to keep the room cool at night without running the AC (which, by the way was very quiet).

how is this a tablet hotel??

Pros: location is great interesting art in the lobby & elevator aveda products in bathroom
we have been to nola 7 or 8 times always staying in 4 star hotels. i think this was the worst of any of them. outdated carpet in the rooms. barely any staff to be seen the entire stay. room was small and you could not open the windows, which made it feel claustrophobic. free breakfast consisted of some granola bars, apples and coffee. would not recommend.
