Short staffed or poorly managed?
We were hopeful as we usury like this pet friendly chain. We also choose it for the hot free breakfast. Perhaps they are short staffed but the breakfast food ran out at 8am and we waited another half hour for eggs. The coffee ran out and a few apples were all for the fruit. We usually have a better experience and hope our next two Hampton Inns are better managed on this trip.

The staff can make or break a stay, and at this hotel everyone I encountered made my day! Friendly, helpful, and just nice people. We did find an "ecosystem" growing in the microwave from some pizza that a previous patron must've forgotten about, but I am capable of throwing things away :), and I could easily see how that could be missed by cleaning staff. I would stay again in a heartbeat though.
