The hotel was under construction; however, the hotel did not disclose this. It was very noisy and all the windows were covered with tarp, so you could not open them and get fresh air. We left after one night due to this, but if not for the construction I believe I would have enjoyed our stay. The facilities were nice and cozy and the staff was friendly. They were very accommodating and moved us to a sister hotel.

The latter was slow to give us permission, which is why we were unable to warn our customers. An extremely small and uncomfortable shower stall. Expensive "petit dejeuner". Coffee, croissant and baguette not worth $ 14.00 Euros.Otherwise, the hotel is very good.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, Thank you for your feedback. However I regret to read your disappointment about the shower tall in your room. About the breakfast of course coffee croissant and baguette not worth 14€ but you forgot to say that there are also fresh fruit, cold cuts, a wide variety of french cheeses, fresh salmon, homemade cakes... For you information our baguettes and croissants are everyday delivered from a very good bakery that won last year the award of "the Best Croissant". For all these reasons our breakfast completely worth the 14€. We are really concerned to offer you the best and sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again. Best regards,

Location-Décor-Staff

Pros: Eager, helpful, staff. Comfortable room, modern bathroom. Great location. Belle Epoch decoration. Neighborhood feeling. Great breakfast-charming room.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Easy walk to Notre Dame cathedral. Walk to Cluny museum, Louvre, multiple restaurants, and the wide range of shops on rue St. Germain.
This unique/classic hotel met all my needs regarding location, comfort, and willingness of the staff to maximize the value of my stay. Khatia checked me in, inquired about my interest in using the hotel's breakfast, and checked with me whenever I left or returned to the hotel. As a resident of Paris, she knew of an unusual event featuring the work of artist Gustav Klimt. I attended, was amazed, and glad I attended because otherwise I would not have known about it. Food shopping, ATMs, bistros, excellent dining, weekend street market, and a Metro stop are mere steps away.

Very charming hotel.

Hotel is very charming. Decor was classic boutique hotel which is great. Rooms were clean. Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was great. Lots of hot water in bath. Bed was a bit hard. Bed needed more pillows or fluffiier pillows as pillows a bit flat. Overall great hotel for someone looking for a classic French boutique hotel.

Excellent staff!! Great location! The hotel is small and very old which gives it so much charm! I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back!

Would stay for every visit to Paris

Perfect perfect perfect. Definitely sign up to eat breakfast with them on at least one day of your stay.Super convenient location to teain and metro. Close to Notre Dame and shopping .

Great Hotel in the Latin Quarter

Pros: Hotel Saint Jacgues is a very nice boutique hotel that is a bit off the beaten path. The Impressionist theme is beautiful with modern bathrooms.
Cons: I'm sure there were minor glitches that occurred but everything went smoothly mostly and we had no major problems.
Location: There are many cafes and restaurants nearby and the Seine and Notre Dame are very easy to get to as well as the metro and various bus stops are close.
Booking our hotel and airfare through Tavelocity was so easy! We were able to chose the hotel we wanted and the airline and could also book transportation to and from the airport and sightseeing trips too. I would definitely book ahead for the Eiffel Tower and anything that is a must see. Skip the line tickets are necessary since many places in Paris are extremely popular and ticket lines are long.

Fabulous hotel, staff and service

Pros: Beautifully decorated
Cons: Breakfast was not worth the 14€. It needed more cold meats, fish and cheeses and croissants with the rolls.
Location: Ideal location, 2 blocks to the Pantheon, 5 minutes to Notre Dame
We came into Paris within hours of the attacks and yet we were still met with a smile and warm welcome by the receptionist at the hotel, Theodora. The hotel was well located, very clean and has been very well maintained. We come to Paris frequently and we have now found out forever hotel. It is not always about the hotel, the staff at this hotel our exceptional, friendly and kind Parisians. Theodora, however was exceptional, she was always there to answer any and all questions from Parisian lifestyles to where should we eat,or checking for us to see what was open or not open.
