We liked the friendly, relaxed hosts and their dog, Apollo. Loved the gardens and the quilts. Breakfast was excellent! Room was very small with no room for a chair or table.

Lucy's Place was the perfect place for us to stay, close to the Madeline Island Ferry and downtown. My Granddauther was afraid to stay in a stranger's house (she had never been to a Bed and Breakfast), Bruce, the proprietor, was so kind to her and explained how they loved having children stay with them. She loved her first Bed and Breakfast experience!

Bruce and Barb were excellent hosts and a wealth of information about the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Our bedroom was just off of the kitchen, so we could smell coffee brewing in the morning as well as breakfast being made. We had a delightful time. We were close to everything!
