New Year's Eve
We stayed at the Best Western in Monticello on New Year's Eve. It was an ok stay other than 2 barking dogs in the room next to us and children and/or adults stomping away upstairs well after 10 pm. When I asked the front desk to address the dogs he took care of it right away. The family was upstairs and left the dogs alone in the room. They came down and took the dogs with them and that stopped. The pounding was another story. He commented it was NYE and it was to be expected with lots of families staying. He then called our room at 11 pm, woke my husband who by some miraculous way was actually sleeping through all of this to let me know that the people upstairs had been moved to a new location. Other than this is it was an ok stay. So he did take care of things but it was kind of a long night for me. Oh, and hotels.com had a note that we had a pet and it was almost impossible to remove that from our reservation. We did not have a pet and never had an option to even say we were bringing a pet.
