We reay enjoyed our stay at depot on the hill. Love the library room and its multiple levels. Probably the most unique room we have ever stayed in

Relaxing, romantic

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
While looking for a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I came across the Inn and Depot Hill and did a little research. After finding only good things about it, I booked the Paris room for the weekend. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at the location and its proximity to the beach and shops; everything is just a short walk down the hill. The B&B and its grounds are very picturesque and I immediately felt comfortable there. The staff was professional and courteous, and our room was very charming and nicely outfitted. I was pleased to discover how quiet it was and my husband and I were able to sleep in and not be disturbed even though we slept with the windows open! The breakfasts were pretty good, and the appetizers in the evening were tasty as well. My only criticism is that the custom made bedspread was pretty worn and in one spot worn through. And this is just a matter of preference, but we are used to a king sized bed at home, so the queen size was a bit cozier than we were used to. That being said though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Gorious Bed and Breakfast!

This little Inn is amazing! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The room we stayed in was the Paris room-very romantic! Each room is different and unique with the theme being travel destinations of a by-gone era people once reached by train.There are some contemporary rooms as well such as the Captiola Room. This building was once the train Depot owned by Southern Pacific servicing the first tourists from Stockton, Sacramento and San Jose. The grounds are amazing with lots of gardens. Our room opened to a beautiful patio area with a fountain. The Inn keepers were wonderful and attended to our every need. The value for the price of the room is outstanding. The food is all homemade and prepared fresh. You can eat in the dining room or have room service if you prefer. If you want to be pampered with great attention to detail this is the place. Very relaxing and stress free. Also, the beach and little shops are within walking distance. Don't forget to eat at Shadowbrook while you are there. It too is amazing!
