Excellent hotel for family vacation. The food, hotel staff, room and facilities were excellent. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel close to the beach

Hotel is very nice! Food was good for a 4 star hotel. Staff are all different depending of their mood. Some of them look at you serious and mad. Specially at the pool bar and fresh restaurant. Others were very nice.this was my first time in Jamaica.beach is a 3 start beach. If you like water u must go to NEGRIL.

"Older hotel" charm, EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!!

Pros: More than anything - the staff.
Location: Located in Montego Bay. We heard there was lots to do but we went to relax....and that all we did. Did not leave the resort at all.
We stayed 8 nights in this "older" (as compared to others in the vicinity) hotel, bed was very comfortable/pillows not so much but that's minor issue. There were a few tweeks that needed to be done in our room and all was taken care of promptly and to our complete satisfaction. The restaurants were wonderful, the buffet is themed differently each evening for dinner. Choices were fantastic. Three Palms Restaurant was fabulous! All outside smaller dining places (pizza, sandwiches, etc.) were great. Bars were well stocked/bartenders can mix some mean drinks! Now...to us-the most important aspect of any trip - the people. There was not one single bad experience, not one single problem, not one single thing of any kind to say against any person we dealt with. From the guys who rake the beach to the hotel managers - Professional, Friendly, Fun and Easy-going. We loved meeting every single person! You can be sure if we return to Jamaica, we will stay at this resort.

Best Vacation Ever!

Pros: Water slide with swim up bar. Great entertainment, Friendly staff, Quality of the food
Cons: Wifi was a little slow
Location: Only 10 Minuets from the airport, Local shops
Went there on a family vacation. I could not have been more pleased as this resort exceeded all of my expectations. The resort was clean. well staffed and had some of the most pleasant staff members I have ever come across. The all went out of their way to make sure we had a great vacation. I was very pleased with the quality of the food at both the buffets and restaurants. The pool has a large water slide that empty's into a lazy river with a swim up bar. We spent a lot of time there just floating around in out tubes. The beaches were great with no coral as found in some other vacation spots. The thing that stood out the most was the quality of the entertainment. They had something great every night. I highly recommend this place and feel you will not be disappointed. I plan to revisit this resort again!!!

Wonderful beach resort

I am generally very hard to impress but this was one of the nicest places I have visited. The personnel were the best trained staff I have seen. They did not simply say the right things but they acted intelligently to take initiative and take care of all of our needs- and they made us feel at home in the process. We did all inclusive and found the food to be excellent, with good variety and healthy choices. We do not have small children but saw families loved waterpark. Really exceeded my expectations and would unreservedly recommend

Great Family Vacation

Pros: We took full advantage of all the amenities at the hotel from the pool, restaurants, evening events and excursions. Can't say enough good things.
Cons: Travelocity needs to make sure they get the reservations to the hotel. Hilton was very accomadating to the situation and helped us feel very welcomed!
the folks at the Hilton were Great! They were very friendly, accommodating to every request we had. The resort was a great place for kids as well with all kinds of activities. Lots of new friends from all over the world. My child did not want to leave.

Family Friendly All Inclusive

Pros: The buffet was the best dinning option. They recently expanded the beach area, which provides more space.
Cons: Small swimming area off the beach. Construction. Entertainment.
Location: Swim, golf, basketball, tennis, hot tub, waterslide, lazy river, massage, ping pong, games, etc.
The resort is really nice! It is not quite a luxury resort, but a really good middle ground place. We weren't that crazy about our room at first because it was on the second floor and didn't have the great view that we expected. The bathroom was also unbelievably small. So we asked if we could change rooms and D'Andra at the reception desk was very nice about it. She put us in a great room on the top floor with a perfect view and a much larger bathroom! The best part was the lazy river. It's surrounded by lush trees and flowers and water falls, which made it so beautiful. They had little hidden hot tubs that you could also go to along the way. We don't have kids, but kept talking about how fun this resort would be for children. We also really enjoyed the unlimited Jamaican food and fresh mangos! So delicious, we couldn't get enough!! In terms of negatives, the beach swimming area was too small, and they were really strict about staying within the buoys. There were many other swimming options though. We also didn't know about the construction, which would have been a deal breaker for booking. It was mildly annoying to hear the hammers during the day, but they stopped at a good time and wasn't as bad as I thought. The daily evening entertainment needs work. The band was great, but the skits/productions were rough.

The hotel itself was O.K. The beach was not nice.

Pros: The grounds are nice. It appeared safe as well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: The food options. It was awful. The entertainment is lacking as well. There was no spice to it. It was mediocre.
Location: Nearby? You have to get in a vehicle to get to anything else. We had someone take us to other places to have fun such as Negril and Ocho Rios.
When we got to the room, the floors were dirty and had a foul odor. We went back to the front desk and they apologized and placed us in a cleaner room that didn't smell. The food was not good. Perhaps it would have been pleasing to Americans or Europeans. However, If you are expecting a multitude of Jamaican foods to select from, this is NOT the place. That was disappointing. I don't want to leave the US and go to the Caribbean to eat American food. The night entertainment got boring after day two. It's very repetitive. There is nothing to do at night except to sit at the bar. You are sharing the Club with kids until 11 pm, which sucks for the kids. I feel they should have their own spot other than the 'teen' center which closes at 11 as well. That was a barely there spot with a few TVs where the teens could play video games. Overall, the grounds itself was nice. I would go back only if i wasn't looking for fun and excitement. If i want entertainment, i'd go elsewhere.

August Honeymoon

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Three beaches to choose from. Ocean view was spectacular.
Cons: Customer service, especially front desk staff.
Location: Lots of excursions offered but most are a long drive away or overpriced.
Negatives -DID NOT HAVE ROOM WE BOOKED ON TRAVELOCITY AVAILABLE. I booked a king size bed, oceanfront. Upon arrival, I was told the room was two queens by the front desk. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me, "Your reservation is actually for two queens or a king" and was unwillingly to offer us any sort of compensation to make up for the disappointment. To get a king, I had to switch rooms, which was incredibly inconvenient. They had us check out of our room at 11am and we did not receive a room until 4:15pm that day. We were given a pager but were never paged. We only found out our room was ready because we asked. -During buffet meals, we often were not greeted. In fact, the last three days of our trip, we were greeted almost 15 minutes after we sat down. The hotel was often out of glasses so we had to go without beverages for meals. - Played the same Bob Marley CD or music at the pool, over and over, and over. -Our special honeymoon treat never delivered to our room Positives -Food was overall very good compared to other all inclusive resorts we have stayed at. Monday night's BBQ was amazing. -Beaches were well maintained and never too crowded. Beaches were beautiful and water was always warm. -Maids were especially friendly -Nightly entertainment was excellent. Especially the steel drum players on Friday night. -Javanni, the conceirge, was very helpful at the front desk.
