Beautiful PLACE!!

The room service, land and scenery, Carribean beach clear water ocean and white sand, staff, bartenders.. WOW.. absolutely amazing for my 10 year anniversary. We loved it. Also did something every day including swim with the dolphins and horseback riding.. LOVE LOVED IT and coming back from COLORADO next year to the same spot. People are nice.. Im a 32 year old US ARMY VET and this was paradise and what we needed. Fresh cut coconuts from the tree right there, every morning and all inclusive means free everything!!! 100 kinds of rum and restaurants were great!!!

Nice hotel with beautiful pool but has some issues

Pros: Pool is the nicest I have ever seen. Very clean and beautiful to relax in with the swim up bar. Several restaurants to choose from and food good.
Cons: Need to have more towels available for pool as well as lounge chairs. Staff needs to be better trained and more staff at restaurants.
Location: We took a catamaran ride to Dunn's River Falls. Great day excursion. None of the other excursions seemed exciting or worth the money.
The facility is beautiful and the pool is amazing. I originally booked on the Grand Palladium Jamacia side. When the shuttle went to drop us off from the airport the hotel representative told me we were booked on the Lady Hamilton side so the shuttle took us there. When we got to the front desk there they told me we were at the Jamaica side. After an hour of dealing with it I just paid an extra $150.00 to stay in the Lady Hamilton side as they told me the rooms are more updated. The first 4 days they ran out of pool towels so I had to run around the entire resort looking for towels. On the 5th day I refused to run around so had to tell the front desk they could go and find them and I would wait there for them. They eventually did. Several other guests were also complaining about that. They have many restaurants and buffets. Food was overall pretty good. The Chez Bubba Steakhouse was fantastic. They only open one of the two main buffet's at a time (except Christmas Day) and didn't appear to have enough staff to clear tables. The rooms have paper thin walls so you hear everything. At night they have Jamaican Tree Frogs chirping all night long so I could not sleep the entire week. If you are a light sleeper than this may not be the place for you or you may want a room on the 3rd floor. Not sure if that is any better or not. Overall a great vacation but I would have hoped that the service would have not seemed like this was their first large crowd.

Cons: Distance from the airport/city
Location: You will need to purchase tour's to enjoy your visit in Jamaica.
Service was great, hotel was located towards the outskirt of the island but a great view of the ocean. Also a kid friendly hotel with various activities for the family.

Ok let's start with the Pros * Nice rooms on the lady Hamilton side . Jamaica side needs updating . *The beach in front of the big pool is excellent all other beaches are not great . *The Spa is a great value . *Grounds are beautiful The bar upstairs with the brand name liquor is great *Chez bubba steakhouse is very good . Buffets were pretty good Domed covered walking paths are nice . James the front desk manager is excellent Harrieta the bartender server is excellent The casino is fun and well air conditioned. Chambermaids were excellent. Here's the cons Food mediocre and never get a hot meal Never got a shuttle ride they fly by you like your not there . Some of Bartenders are inattentive and if they don't like you serve weak drinks If you want to see a lot of obese tattooed people ,this is your place . This is Not in Montego Bay !!! Not even close to it . A lot of power outages . Always at night. You wou Not a real Jamaican beach on this property As Caucasians felt discriminated against and out numbered . Especially by half the staff . The pools need to be shocked with chlorine more .saw some nasty stuff in there . Missing handrails on pool,dangerous . Half the staff were helpful, other half ignored you . Staff is sad , no smiles from them . No security to keep obnoxious people at bay . Often Felt like I was at Rappers ,Spring break. Sportsbar is horrible ,crowded and staff COMPLETELY ignores you . Spoke to many guests who felt the same as we did.

Best Jamaican Resort

Pros: Beautiful hotel and friendly.
Cons: No airport shuttle service.
Location: Like the location because it is not in the city. Dolphin Cove nearby. Rick's Restaurant. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
This is our 9th trip to the Grand Palladium and have enjoyed it each time. The food and drinks are very good especially since they are included. We have returned because it is the best value you can find for the money.

Pros: The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly. They responded to all request promptly. The cleanliness and landscaping were immaculate.

Location: Chukka horseback riding / Dunn's River Falls / Dolphin Cove were close enough for great tours.
The resort was a paradise. Absolutely amazing in every way.

Weekend Paradise

Very nice and laid back. No pressure and no problems was the weekend theme. Excellent food and great variety. Loved the nightly shows and entertainment. One major drawback was the 40 stairs to make it back to the room after a long day of drinking and eating. No way out of this task because there are no elevators. If that is a problem, make sure you get a room on the lower floor. Otherwise the rooms are spacious and nice.

Grand Palladium resort in Jamaica

Pros: Nice beach right on the resort
Cons: Stop putting any restrictions on usage of any facilities or restaurants, its a All inclusive resort for a reason, I should be able to do anything that
Location: montego bay, Zipline nearly 30 mins away was Amazing
After going for the last 2 years in all inclusive resorts, this trip to the grand palladium in Jamaica was I would say my worst. I have never heard of a all inclusive resort which includes "Everything Unlimited" having restrictions on some facilities. To begin with you have to walk to a special place to get swimming towels & then when you get there, there are none (towels) to be found since they ran out. You go out to eat & then find out that certain restaurants are closed on some nights for dinner, hmmmm, restaurant closed for dining in a All inclusive resort, haha, shame shame. On top of that I cannot take any food out of the restaurant just in case my kids get hungry later, wow.... really, I cant even order food in my room. You go out to eat in a certain restaurant in the resort and then find out that they are sold out of some menu items, really ...

Cons: the food even the specialty rest.
beautiful hotel, best swimming pool, friendly staff, great entertainment staff and great bartenders especially swim-up bartender Martin. The only downside was the food, was not that great. They really have to work on the Mexican rest. that was really bad.
