Located in Mobile, Malaga Inn is in the city center. Church Street East Historic District and Christ Church Cathedral are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mobile Cruise Terminal and Timber Creek Golf Course. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Ladd-Peebles Stadium or Hank Aaron Stadium. Our guests love the hotel's location for the sightseeing.
Our review of this establishment following our stay: Pros: 1. Location; exceptionally well located in downtown Mobile. 2. Parking; included in rate. 3. Personnel; polite and friendly. 4. Off-Season Rate; quite reasonable and makes for a rare quality-price ratio, particularly for those who value location over modern comfort. 5. Room 116; antique and has rustic look with bathroom recently renovated - no doubt it has charm and character for some! Cons: 1. Internet; if, and when, available was, at best, atrociously slow. In addition, we were intermittently booted in and out of connectivity. 2. Mattress; so very soft making for a decent sleep an impossibility. And, the bed was slanting downward - towards the bedroom wall which is a nightmare for CPAP users - acid reflux issues! 3. Television; picture and sound quality was mediocre complemented with it's so modest size - less than 30 inches. 4. Room 116; very warm AC not working, squeaking wooden floors with a few weak points throughout, few electrical outlets, poor lighting being only two table lamps - very dark when curtains are closed, and in need of imminent repairs as well as general overall maintenance. In light of the aforementioned, for my wife and l, the rustic aspects associated with the cited cons were quite significant therefore neither of us would ever return to this inn...
