If you are desperate, go somewhere else

Too far awayawayfrom the airport, lousy neighborhood, run down, no water pressure, elevator broken... Need I go on?

Very Unsatisfactory

This is a very run down hotel. The wallpaper was peeling in the stairway from the first floor to the second. The elevator was out of order which required us to walk up and down to our room on the third floor - it appeared to have been that way for quite some time. The waffle maker for the continental breakfast did not work and there was no sign indicating such. Because we didn't know it was defective, we cleaned it so that we could use it, only to discover that it was out of order. I contacted the front desk three times during our stay to replace the lamp in our room because it had no on/off switch. Each time I was promised that the lamp would be replaced. It never was. The security door to the outside had the latch removed, thus allowing anyone to enter the hotel late at night without going past the front desk. This was very uncomfortable for my wife. There was no water for the toilet or sink one night for several hours. At another time the toilet became clogged and the front desk said they would take care of it. We also told housekeeping. The toilet was never unclogged. When we checked in the front desk had to give us a hand written receipt because the printer didn't work. We had to wait when we tried to check in because the computer was down. Overall a very disappointing experience from a tired run down hotel. My recommendation is that you stay someplace else.

DONT STAY!!

Do not stay here! This is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The sheets were dirty, no hot water in shower, 3 lightbulbs missing from lamps, stained towels, TV that didnt work. Tried to give me another room and it was just as bad! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I had a non smoking room booked. The room I got was stale smoke smell, cigarette burns on the carpets and beds, toilet did not work, fire alarms were removed, and it was filthy, We were given another room smelled better still burns in carpets, beds felt like sand was in them, we itched and box springs were broken beds looked very old and uncomfortable. Very horrible experience.

About what expected

Older hotel, ice machine was far from centrally located it was tucked in a corner on 1st level....in room fridge was an old minibar fridge that barely worked,,,coffee maker still had filter pack from previous occupants,,,& to top it off the maid walked in our room without even knocking & caught us in the middle of our "fun" time.  What a mood killer

Horrible service. Room was dirty. Elevator was broken. Walked in and walked right out. Found a different hotel.

You have got to be kidding me!

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Nothing close, dirty facility
I am normally really lenient when it comes to reviews, but Days Inn, I would really like to free stay at another one of your hotels in the Minneapolis area. This establishment is a joke. From the unprofessionalism of the staff to the dirtiness of the facility (trash; including a chicken bone in the elevator...really?) I can't believe this place passes any inspections. I really enjoyed coming home to a guest urinating along the side of the portico...real classy . My pillows were old and stained, the mattress old and uncomfortable. There was barely any hot water and the water pressure was really low. I will give the cleaning staff credit for keeping things tidy. I didn't even bother with the continental breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Twice my keycard didn't work and had to have it reset. Overall, the experience was the worse I ever encountered and I have stayed at other wonderful Days Inn. They can do so much better and it is a shame this is the image I have of this company. I hope they read this. For those considering, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
