We stayed for one night while visiting our Son and daughter-in-law in Tallahassee. Just off of Interstate 10 and set back from the road. Super clean and modern room, place smelled clean from the front door to the room. Black out shade worked, A/C is cool and quiet. Nice shower pressure. Big LCD screen, high ceilings. Comfortable clean mattress. Well maintained. Breakfast was good, better than average. Snacks/quick meals available for purchase at the front desk area. Staff friendly and helpful. We booked this room at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and recommend for one or more days of stay. For the price and location, you can not lose. We will return.

The guy that checked us in I think he was the general manager he was very nice gave us a discount because the pool was not working we checked in then we left to get my daughter from FSU upon returning we had a chance to look around the room and was disappointed my wife pulled back the covers and was unhappy with the sheets they had stains on them. I don’t know what the stains were we took pictures we went to the desk wanted to leave but the girl at the desk did not assist us she just kept saying because we booked through Travelocity it was not her problem make a long story short we were unhappy with the room was never offered another room I ended up calling Travelocity and they said due to hotel policy we could not get a refund we ended up checking out so almost $300 down the drain I understand the hotel was being renovated but the fact that the girl at the desk at night had a no care attitude that’s just unacceptable. I called back when we returned home spoke with the guy that checked us in he said he would try to get us a refund never heard back from him. Whoever cleaned the room I’m sure they noticed that my wife left her AirPods on the bed all we did was pull back the covers nothing really was touch the AirPods were in a blue cover nobody even ever bothered to call us to try to even return them very dissatisfied.It’s a shame the hotel will hike up prices even through renovation we were given a small discount at checkin.The night person needs better customer service skills
