Beautiful property & room. So many complimentary items. Only thing that I would have liked is a microwave in the room to reheat food. There is a frig & it was stocked with complimentary food & drinks. They have Starbucks coffee, beer & wine in the sitting room when you check in & an amazing deck right on the Bay. We visted in the winter and there is a fireplace so it was super cozy.

Great location right on the bay, about a 3 block walk to the beach. A very unique hotel with great service to back it up.

Great Place

Pros: The room.
Cons: Keep the staff QUITE.
Location: We liked the location.
Saturday people at the desk had loud conversations that woke us up. Very poor for such a great place, If they need to convers about issues they need to go outside. This was the first time this has ever happened to us. Will think about staying here again.

10 Years Later

One of my first stays with my husband was at the Lighthouse in January 2008. Ten years later, here we are again. We like this hotel because it has a B&B atmosphere, quiet, comforting, CLEAN, and tranquil as you overlook the bay. John who assists with your bags is very likeable and the cookie smell when you walk in is very welcoming. On the down side it took 45 minutes for the water to even get past the jets in the tub, the pillows need to be replaced as they are flat and worn, and it feels like the same comforter that was on the bed ten years ago. The furniture is the same, the wall sconces for the candles are the same, the furniture is the same. Overall the place hasn't changed one bit but with the price that you pay for the room they should probably update the actual rooms a little more. Even though I love the tranquility of the property, I would book another property in the future.

Thank you for your review .We actually do renovations every year ,last year we changed out all of the sofa's in our light keeper suite's .We change carpets,curtains,mattress's and get the furniture refinished etc.How ever the owner likes the traditional style ,that will stay the same .You may want to try our beautiful designer hotel The Edge where there are different theme suites and very modern. We hope to see you again . .

Cozy hotel with a great view of the bay.

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Ocean City. I liked the view of the bay. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and a jacuzzi for 2. There is a gorgeous lounge area with a bayview. The hotel felt more like a bed and breakfast. I'm definitely planning another stay there for my next anniversary.
